submitted by Lope - 1 year ago
  • A: The Intex Ultra Plush 20" Queen Air Mattress has a built-in 120V pump, made for U.S. outlets. To use it in a country with 220V, you'll need a step-down voltage converter. Alternatively, look for the 220V version sold in international markets.

Q: can you sleep on this bed right away the first night or do you have to wait 24hrs?

submitted by Ty - 3 years ago
  • A: Hello Ty. Once fully inflated, you airbed is ready to use. Please note, when air beds are new, the PVC it is made out of will stretch. This will make it seem like the air bed is leaking, but it’s just stretching out with the same amount of air inside. This will make the air bed softer after sleeping on it, but this process will stop after a few uses. We hope you found this information helpful.

submitted byIntex Consumer Support - 3 years ago
    Brand expert
  • A: Use it right away. Just be mindful, though, that PVC stretches -- so, it will appear to "lose some air" the first night (the surface area just stretched and grew). Not as much an issue for TPU beds.

Q: Does the pump have an auto shut off feature when fully inflated?

submitted by Sunshine - 4 years ago
  • A: No. The internal pump does not have an auto shut off. We hope you found this information helpful.

submitted byIntex Consumer Support - 4 years ago
    Brand expert
  • A: Hi Sunshine. The pump does not have an auto shut off, however the pump has a maximum pressure it will inflate. So you do not need to worry about over inflating with the pump.

Q: is this firm? don't want a soft bed.

submitted by stacey - 5 years ago
  • A: The firmness of the bed depends on how much you inflate it. NOTE: To prevent bursting, do not over inflate. We hope this information is helpful and if you need further assistance please call our Service Center at 1-800-234-6839.

submitted byIntex Consumer Support - 5 years ago
    Brand expert
  • A: The firmness of the bed depends on how much you inflate it. Just inflate fully for a more firm bed. A good tip for a brand new bed is to inflate it the night before your first use. The material will stretch at first, but once it stretches after that first night you should be good to go for maintained firmness throughout the night.

Q: What is the difference between the plush intex queen and the other intex 20inch mattress . They are the same price

submitted by marlene - 5 years ago
  • A: Please contact the Service Center at 1-800-234-6839 with the product numbers for each airbed you want to compare. This way the Service Center can properly compare the exact airbeds you are referencing and provide you with accurate information.

submitted byIntex Consumer Support - 5 years ago
    Brand expert
  • A: Hi Marlene. I think you are referring to the Dual Layer Airbed, Target DPCI 337-03-1850 as a comparison. They are both similar queen size beds and feature dura-beam technology. The beds do have different construction. The Dual Layer Airbed features a distinct top layer that makes it ideal for fitted sheets to wrap and tuck into. The Ultra Plush Airbed shown here has a unique plush top pattern for added comfort as well as top edge banding to maximize sleeping surface area. Each airbed offered has distinct and unique features, its just a matter of preference what makes the most sense for you.

submitted by Cookie - 3 months ago
  • A: To inflate the Intex Ultra Plush 20" Queen Air Mattress, plug in the built-in pump, turn the control dial clockwise to the inflation mark, and toggle the power switch to "on". The mattress will fully inflate in about 4–5 minutes. Once firm, turn the dial back to the center and turn off the switch.

The air mattress offers a mix of comfort and convenience, with features like self-inflation and a built-in pump that make setup easy. Many guests appreciate its height and plush top, which enhance the sleeping experience. However, concerns about durability and air retention have been frequently mentioned, with some guests experiencing deflation issues after minimal use. Overall, it serves well for short-term needs but may not be reliable for long-term use.

    electric pump valve leaks

Purchased air mattress with internal electric pump in July 2025; used it <5 timesd over 6 months, until valve started leaking; loses a substantial amount of air within 2-3 hours. It is a strong pump- very handy, but the valve is terrible ; doesn't last half the night

    So Easy! Great Bed

So easy. This self inflating bed is literally a plug and play. I have a severe disability and I dragged it up the stairs and set it up myself. Inflated in 4 minutes. Nice and bouncy. I didn’t sleep great but I haven’t slept on an air bed in 25 years. Needed it for two nights in our new condo before the bed arrives. Felt like a waterbed but felt supportive and safe.

    Great product for the price!

User friendly, inflates within a couple of minutes, firm and comfortable to sleep on. Tall enough to sit on like a couch or chair. Internal air pump is loud so you should inflate before people around you are sleeping.
