Q: My current drum style shade shows the vertical seam when the lamp is on. Don't like that. Is that les obvious on this lampshade?

A: Hi - most shades have a seam where the material meets, and this one does as well. How obvious the seam appears depends on the brightness of the bulb you use to some extent, as well as the shade color and material. So you will see the seam on this design, but if you use a lower lumens bulb it won't be as noticeable. Thank you for the question.

Perfect shade!
This shade is on a floor lamp base and is used primarily as a reading lamp placed between a sofa and accent chair. It has clean, unobtrusive lines that don't interfere with the other pieces of furniture or the view out windows behind it. It also coordinates well with the torchiere lamp that we also have in our living room.
