A: No, this lamp uses a G9 base bulb, not a standard-medium base regular bulb. You could use a G9 base LED bulb, but not a regular screw-in bulb. Thank you for the question.

I love the lamp. it was easy to assemble because I have small fingers. I didn't realize that I can turn it on if I touch any metal on the lamp. Much more convenient than I thought. MUCH to bright. If the lights go out on the airport runway I think I guide a landing plane if I find a long enough extension cord. I tried to find halogen lights with less than 25 W and could not. I removed two bulbs so it won't blind me when I use it to read or turn it on in the middle of the night when I need to get out of bed.

this lamp is very nice and looks really good in my daughter's bedroom. I did think it had three levels of brightness, but it doesn't. I went back to read the description and it did not say it had three levels. It said it had 3-light touch one-off. So I interpreted it wrong. Directions for assembling were very helpful.

I am very pleased with the style and appearance. I love having the "touch" feature for easy turning on and off. It was relatively easy to assemble. I am sorry I don't get more direct light on reading material when sitting in bed, or that the the light isn't brighter. But I'm very happy with the lamp otherwise.
