A: Hi Rachel, While we do our best to make training wheels fit as many bikes as possible, there are exceptions to this depending on the design. The design of some bikes, particularly this model, are made with a rear axle that is too short to accept the additional width of training wheels and brackets. It may be possible to have a local bike shop extend the axle to accommodate the training wheels or bike stabilizers may be another option. Thanks!

A: Hi. Sadly, some 18" and 20" models do not have an axle long enough to safely support training wheels, and you will most likely need a set that mounts to the frame and not the axle. We recommend working with a Professional bike shop to ensure the training wheels are safely attached. They're the experts we rely on when it comes to adding components to a product that was not originally manufactured on the bike, additionally, they'll have all the resources to make sure you get the right training wheelset.
