The design of some bikes, particularly this model, are made with a rear axle that is too short to accept the additional width of training wheels and brackets. A: Hi. Sadly, some 18" and 20" models do not have an axle long enough to safely support training wheels, and you will most likely need a set that mounts to the frame and not the axle. We recommend working with a Professional bike shop to ensure the training wheels are safely attached.
