The Philips Avent SCF291/00 Advanced Electric Steam Sterilizer effectively kills 99.9% of germs in just 6 minutes*. It sterilizes using steam, an effective, chemical-free way to protect your baby from harmful germs. The Advanced Electric Steam Sterilizer is adjustable, giving you the option of a small configuration for pacifiers, a medium configuration for breast pumps, toddler plates and utensils, and a large configuration for up to 6 Philip Avent bottles; and it requires minimal counter top space. To use, just add water to the base, load, and turn on the power. Advanced features, such as a 6-minute cycle with automatic shutoff and drip tray to prevent unpleasant odors, make it easy to use; and contents remain sterile for up to 24 hours if the lid remains closed. The Philips Avent Advanced Electric Steam Sterilizer is backed by a full 2-year warranty. *With heating time of 4 minutes, total sterilization cycle is 10 minutes.

A: Hello! Teats, breast pumps, Avent bottles (polypropylene and BPA-free), and Philips Avent glass bottles are among the only objects that should be sterilized in the Avent sterilizer. Make sure that before putting any parts in your Philips Avent sterilizer, you disassemble and clean them completely.

A: Hello! Yes. With the large basket and the small basket on the base to sterilize up to six 330 ml/ 11 oz bottles. . Place the bottles upside down in the large basket and place the bottle dome caps, screw rings and nipples in the small basket.

A: Hi! We do not have the information about the Comotomo bottles. Our sterilizer is slender and yet still holds up to six Philips Avent baby bottles. It also fits all the other essentials, from teats and soothers to a manual breast pump.

I cannot recommend this product enough! As someone who used to design medical sterilises, I did a lot of comparison with other products. This product expels because of: 1-drying feature: the product claims goods are kept sanitised until the lid is open. Microbio will grow on moist surfaces. Therefore, it is key to have dry goods when opening the lid. 2-sterilisation method: this product is a steam. I really do not buy into products that claim sterilisation with UV. Please avoid these for your children. UV process is heavily limited by distance to the UV light source. I do not believe that UV light will penetrate in any meaningful way around crevices. 3-steam penetration: the product is designed in a way that allows the steam to easily flow between layers.

Making larenting easy
I love this for sterilizing bottles! I like the design that really makes it functional - bottles on bottom and nipples/rings and pacifiers on top. I wish they would make it to where you could just sterilize the nipples without leaving on the bottle portion, but overall very worth it.

Buy the one with a dryer
Leaves bottles wet and the house smells like burning marshmallows every time we use it. We use distilled water and it turns black and nasty each use. Not happy with this purchase.

I would recommend
It's easy to use. You can fit any size bottles in the sterliser, breat pump as well. The compartments are great. No leaking water on any surfaces. Slimline fits tidy in my kitchen. 10 minutes to sterlise bottles. It's steam so the lid will have water on it, just like any other steam sterliser. Happy with my purchase and the price

Huge timesaver with a newborn
I am breastfeeding and pumping. This sanitizer is a life saver. I like that it has a drying function if you just need to dry. It runs quickly and efficiently and is easy to clean. Highly recommend!

Product is Defective
I received this off my baby registry and it’s not what I expected at all. It began to turn color at the bottom where the water is placed. And it leaks so much water it’s terrible wish I could return it

This product is great. It's so quick and easy to use. The only fault I have is that I wish it had a built in dryer to dry the products after sterilisation. But other that that. It's great

No fuss, easy to use product!
The size is great. You can fit a lot in here and its modular design allows for you to sterilize in small or big batches. It also has a minimalist look to it that looks really nice on your counter. Overall, I would highly recommend this product.

Lifesaver
It saves me so much time. All you have to do is put all the bottle parts, pacifiers and some pump parts then it will do the job! It is really quick to sterilize too. It never gets dirty because I use it everyday, it sterilizes itself whenever I use it. The only thing that needs to be washed is the bottom part where you put the water because sometimes it has some powdery-like substance, I think it’s from the water that I use, though.

Makes sterilisation hassle free
Been using the product for about a month now. I am quite satisfied with it so far. Absolutely love how it automatically turns off when it finishes, which I think is a great feature that makes using the steriliser easier and tension free.

It's excellent but descaling it is quite cumbersom
Love the product. It's easy to use. But after one descaling procedure I realised it boils the water only on one side of the heater hence the plate is brown on one side. Scales accumulated quet faster on the same side

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sterilizer is very easy to use and straight forward. Love the safety features of it turning off when finished. Just wish I would’ve got the one with the built in dryer as it takes a while to air dry. Overall great product.

All-In-One Sterilizer
What makes Philips Avent sterilizer different? Its electric steam sterilizer is advanced as well as adaptable, which reduces the size for sterilizing tiny baby soothers, or pacifiers. You don't have to worry about it taking up a lot of countertop space when you are not using it. It is very safe and neat to use which made it my absolute favorite!

A Easy-Peasy one
Best thing about this one is it comes with accessories tray which helps us in sterilizing smaller things of my baby like toothers, spoons. Its drip tray protects the heating plate from milk droplets, which helps in removing the unpleasant odors. Its BPF free and completely safe to use. No spilling out of water as the filling area is deep and enough. Of Course,easy to clean and assemble. What more does a mom need? Try this out dear moms!!

Best pick for new moms!
Being a new mom, i do a lot of research before buying every little thing for my new born and this has been on the top of my shopping list after doing an extensive research on sterilizers . I absolutely love its simple design, which is easy to assemble. I use it once in a day since it holds 6 bottles at a time and finishes of the sterilization in 10mins. It takes up less kitchen space. It saves our lots of time which we used to spend in boiling nursing and babies basic accessories.
