A: Helo Lily, While non-toxic, our NON-EDIBLE bones are made of inert materials, and are not digestible. During normal chewing, tiny bristle-like projections are raised which help clean the dog's teeth. These tiny pieces (about the size of a small grain of rice) are designed to pass through if ingested. However, the dog should not be able to break off large pieces of any non-edible chew.

Don't buy unless you want to pay for removal surgery
Would not recommend we’ve only had our puppy for 5 weeks and we bought him these and we noticed he’s started not acting himself. Just had to pay $6,000 for a surgery and labs for a foreign object removal the vet pulled out multiple pieces of these bones. Save yourself the headache and nightmare we went through. Thankfully our pup is doing much better after surgery.

What do I dislike? That I cannot buy two cases of them! My puppy loves them! They do exactly what they are supposed to do. I would give ten stars. I know that sounds excessive but they are incredible. My puppy will sit and devour them.

Does my puppy absolutely love these? Yes. BUT if your puppy is a strong chewer, DO NOT buy these, they are very dangerous if your puppy eats these, and can cause some serious problems. I do like the edible Nyla bone treats, and they last a good bit.

Hello, The first Puppy Chew Strength toy is made of softer, flexible material made just for teething puppies (as indicated by the “Start with” blue arrow on front of package). While many pups safely and successfully use our Nylabone Puppy Chews, some can be too strong for the softer material, especially if they have any permanent teeth. Looks like it may be time for your pup to graduate to the second chew toy in this pack. It is a Power Chew Strength durable nylon bone for your dog to chew when he has his adult teeth (as indicated by the “Graduate to” red arrow on front of package).
