Other factors that can affect how long it lasts include how high and how often the heat or air conditioning is running. If the AC or Heat is on high, it may NOT last for 40 days. We're sorry you aren't happy with the results from your Febreze CAR, Julie. There is a small gap at the top of the clip, so it's normal to look like it's not completely full. Febreze CAR is filled by weight, not volume, to ensure you receive the exact amount listed on the package. We have strict quality controls, and it's very unusual for a package to leave our plant without the proper amount of product in it. Once the product is activated, the liquid level will appear to drop. This is because the perfume moves to the membrane in order to release the fragrance. Long lasting freshness in my car!

I just clipped the freshener on my car vents located in the middle and my car interior immediately began to smell nice. The air vents help circulate the fresh scent to keep the smelly car odors away. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It lasted better then the dangling car fresheners that hang right in the middle of your view. The clip was easy to apply. The clip was so cute and it made my car smell so fresh/clean without being in the middle of my view. The smell was so delicious. It would really be great instead of replacing the whole clip we should be able to just replace the clip with different scents for the car. There was no leakage from the clip. I liked it so much I purchased 5 of them. I definitely recommend this product to you. The best thing about this clip is that it’s so simple and easy to use. The whole point of this clip is to make sure that you won’t get the same results from imitation brands. You will be disappointed. Continued to use this brand. No problem with the product at the moment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scent was strong at first but after like a week it was pretty much gone, I wished it lasted longer because I love the way it smells and stays attached to the air vent but it sucks the scent runs out too fast!

Our vent clips are meant to go the mile with you, whether that's to the grocery store or on an epic cross-country adventure, so we want to ensure you're getting the Febreze freshness that you love on every trip. Each clip is meant to last up to thirty days when on the low setting, but factors such as how often you run your car's heat or air conditioning as well as the intensity you have the clip set to can shorten its lifespan. Don't worry if the level of liquid seems low either: the perfume moves to an internal membrane in the clip in order to be released. The clip is only completely used up when there's no liquid left and no scent coming from it. This Febreze car vent clip really surprised me because first off it lasted a full 30 days which is rare to find and the ocean scent is nice and strong plus you can smell it as soon as you open the car door. I will be buying more in this scent.
