We're here to help and would like to share that to activate the device, locate the center piece horizontal on the back, and flip-up to be flush with the back. This will allow the piece to puncture the membrane. Once the device has been activated, the liquid level will drop approximately halfway. This is because the fragrance moves down to saturate the membrane in order to release scent. We'd like to learn more about your experience and do our best to make things right.
