It can be messy but the kids love it

Ugh, this set was a sticky mess, no matter how much "magical liquid" we put into it. Much stickier than when we made slime at home with regular Elmer's glue and contact solution.

The kit we got was missing the activator solution and the package was still sealed when we opened it. Maybe a manufacturing defect?

My 6 year old son loves this and convinced me to buy this for him. I dont love as much since i'm a mom trying to keep it out of the carpet. The instructions are easy to follow to make the slime. Comes with stuff to make 2 batches of slime. He chose to mix the purple and pink colors together. The packaging is very nice and organized in the box. We made it right away and he would play with it a couple minutes after starting. Ended up stuck on my ceiling and got taken away.

This was a lot of fun for our girls to make. You need to add almost an entire bottle of activator to get rid of the sticky glue texture. All the complaints about the texture seem to be from people that only tried it with 2tsp (as instructed on the box) and then gave up. It’s not messy once made into a slime texture. It cleaned off easily with water or even baby wipes. It hardened a little in the bags but after kneading them they became squishy again. A little pricey but it was fun being able to create the slime and feel the texture change.

I would like to know if the creator of this hates parents because this was the biggest waste of money, this doesn’t even turn into slime it’s just really sticky glue that gets everywhere and takes a lifetime to get off of hands and bowls and utensils. I’m putting this lightly that if I could sue over this product I absolutely would

My daughter got this for her birthday, and we followed the directions to a T, so it was great at first. But, after leaving the slime in an air-tight container for a couple of months, some containers became super liquidity and the other hard. They couldn't be saved, resulting in a very upset kid and money wasted. This happened on SEVERAL purchased Elmer's Slime Kits.

Seriously, this was such a waste of money. If you follow the directions, it’s just weird sticky glue. If you add enough magical liquid to turn it into slime, it’s weird and hard. There is no in between, either sticky goopy mess or weird hard slime.

The Elmer’s 4pk Fairy Dust Slime Kit is super cute and the glittery colors are so fun for the kids! My toddlers loved getting to mix everything and play with the slime. It’s a quick craft overall, but my little ones were impatient for it to mix well, which made it a little tricky trying to make both colors at the same time. Next time I’ll probably go with premade slime just to avoid the chaos, but this kit is still a great option for a fun, sparkly activity!

I got this and I was making it and I read the directions a LOT of times and I did it the same way they did and it was SOOO sticky then after I added lots of activator way more than they it said it finally was slime but then after leaving it for less than a day it became a blob of hard weird slime and the activator was at the bottom of the container would not recommend even for a dollar.

I really liked this slime!!! I received it for my birthday and was very excited to make it. My mom told me that the slime got kinda bad reviews by people saying it did not work and had a horrible texture but I would say the complete opposite. I did end up using about half of the magical liquid bottle per a glue bottle and got a beautiful slime! If it’s sticky add a little more magical liquid and you will need to knead it one it starts getting thicker. If it’s sticky roll it in more magic liquid. We put in a container we had but you can store in ziplock bag. This is a really nice product and I will beg my mom for another one.

This is good slime but you must use way more of the activator than the directions suggest. For one slime I used almost an entire bottle of activator where they only told me to use about two teaspoons. It was a sticky frustrating mess before I started adding my own amount of activator.z

Would not recommend, I followed the instructions perfectly, but was not able to form this into slime. It got everywhere, a huge sticky mess. Had to throw it out without my kids, getting a chance to play with it.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter, thinking it would be a fun experience. It was not. The slime was so so sticky, even after adding double the activator that we recommended. It stuck to everything. Clothes. Furniture. Skin. Hair. This was not a fun time
