I almost didn't get these because of all the bad reviews. I had only tried the salted caramel before which wasn't the greatest but drinkable once I reminded myself I was drinking it for protein not flavor. That one has an after taste that I didn't like to much and the consistency made it worse but again it was only for protein (I don't eat meat or dairy). The vanilla one is better than salted caramel, the flavor is much better and there's no aftertaste but vanilla is even THICKER than salted caramel. I just tell myself I'm drinking a milkshake and it's fine. I took away a star because of the consistency otherwise I would've given it 5

I’ve tried so many protein shakes over the years, and these are not drinkable on their own.

The protein shake itself is excellent. I’ve ordered it from many different places and it’s always delicious. The problem is the packaging for target. It comes in a huge box and the packaging has fallen apart and all of the containers show up squished and deformed.

Don't buy this - it's disgusting. By far the worst one I've tried.

i do not understand how these have a good rating. i have had many vegan protein drinks & these are the worst i ever tried. dumped it down the sink & threw the rest out.

This is not to be enjoyed like a dessert so I don't have that expectation on something vegan with this high of protein. But I've tasted worse for sure! These are not bad at all to me. I've been diagnosed with so many food allergies and my body feels good after drinking these. Totally worth the price!

Helps me get my protein intake started for day- my functional medicine nurse recommended it to me since I need to stay away from eggs and dairy. I add a little cinnamon and nutmeg spice to mine

Sound price-to-protein ratio, among the best on the market and even better than most of Owyn’s own products especially for a vegan protein, making this a solid value for a prepacked protein drink. This has a decently thick texture with a taste that’s a little more vegetable-like than anticipated that has to be acquired, which is understandable for a vegan protein. I’d buy this again if they keep the price consistent.

Great taste, just sweet enough. No aftertaste. An enjoyable drink, high protein.

I know lots of people have said they don’t care for the taste but i love it! I have a sweet tooth though so that might be why. It’s filling enough to be a small meal replacement and helpful for quick on the go meals.

I like the taste and consistency of the vanilla flavor. It's a bit too sweet for my liking so I mix it with my favorite nut milk and that helps.

I have not tried it on its own yet. Only in a smoothie. Blend it with a few strawberries and blueberries! Tastes like ice cream!!

I’ve been wanting to find another non-whey shake to supplement all the whey protein products out there. This ain’t it. Tastes way too pea-y. Maybe Fairlife has spoiled me with how good a protein shake can taste, but I had to choke this one down.

I'm vegan and don't buy anything with added sugar, and I'm also very poor lol so when I saw this at target I was so excited to try something with 0g sugar AND vegan AND a good amount of protein AND not 20$. But it was such a horrible disappointment for me honestly. I have only tried the vanilla flavor so far, I tried very hard to like it. It was unbearable drinking as directed. So I blended it up with some strawberries and cinnamon. Still bad. I used it to make overnight oats, added cinnamon. Still bad. I found that making it as cold as possible kind of numbs the flavor a little but, so I iced it up with water as well and it was still unbearable. I really tried to trick my brain into liking it and I have one more drink of the pack left in my fridge rn so I'm trying to come up with an idea of some way to use it. Maybe I could bake something with oats and use the milk in it? Maybe I need to buy a syrup for it? Idk. It's terrible. Tastes like a really yummy vanilla for one second and then has the worst chalky-chemically aftertaste. Literally so bad. My younger sibling tried it and they hated it as well. :((( I'm a very sad bunny regarding this situation

I don’t why so many are talking about a bad vanilla flavor. The vanilla flavor is good it tastes similar to melted vanilla ice cream and I love it. The texture is perfect it’s not thick at all and it has the consistency of milk. The shake is sweet but not too sweet
