I never thought of pillow protectors before. But when I took a good look at our old pillows, that never had protectors, the protectors made so much sense. Pillows get stained with saliva and sweat, even with a pillowcase. These protectors are super high quality. They don't make any noticable noise and actually increase the firmness of the pillows.

I use these for my kids since they can have any number of messes in their beds...accidents, markers, food, etc. They are great and you can throw them right in the washer and dryer. The fabric is a bit noisy/crinkly on the inside but it doesn't bother my kids at all. The top is a nice terry cloth. Seams and zipper are great quality.

I love to use these in general is it to protect my pillows from getting dirty. However, for waterproof it’ll be good if you make a little spill. But if toddler wets the bed it still goes through. Otherwise, I like it for general protection. Keeps my pillows nice and clean from little kids and pets.

I get what he means ' when you zip up the protector it does sort of vacuum out (or in?) the air and your pillow doesn't have the same squishiness that it did before. I'm fine with that. But I think unzipping the protector might help with that.
