VAMPIRE VACATION created a very fun read-aloud experience for the 3rd grade class I subbed in this week. With Lavoie's engaging text and Player's colorful illustrations, this story was a great conversation starter about relatable themes of feeling different, trying new things and needing a vacation! Highly recommend this book for every library, at home or school!
