The apple cinnamon instant oatmeal has garnered mixed reactions from guests. While many appreciate its convenience and the delightful taste of real apple chunks, others express disappointment over its sweetness and changes in flavor. However, some have noted issues with taste consistency and sugar content, suggesting a need for a lower sugar variety. Overall, it remains a popular choice for a warm, filling meal.

Recipe changed! Not the same terrible
This new version is disgusting gritty small pieces that don’t absorb in water or milk . You feel like you are eating uncooked oats in warm liquids. I have eaten this my whole life so I know how to obviously cook it. Even bought a different flavor thinking maybe it was a bad batch and it was the exact same way. Terrible

Changed!!! Gritty doesn’t cook
Please go back to how it use to be this new version is gritty, the oats don’t cook all the way and it’s like eating tiny pieces of uncooked oats in warm milk. Doesn’t get creamy and I sadly will not repurchase. I am 35 years old and have been eating this since I was a child. The recipe has changed and in the worst way

Disappointed
I was really looking forward to having oatmeal in the morning again, and opted for my one-time favorite of Apples & Cinnamon. Wow, was I ever disappointed: it had an "off" flavor, and way too sweet...not at all the way I remembered it.

25% saturated fat
What's with the increased saturated fat? The sugar content is bad enough, now the saturated dat is 25% per pouch. Good job contributing to heart disease and obese 'mericans. Do better.

Overall good; needs a tweak ingredients
Appreciate the short list of ingredients and no high fructose. Would be even better if they cut down on the sugar (I love sweet but this is too sweet) and got rid of the natural flavor (what is that anyway). The apple & cinnamon is enough flavor.

This product is not worth eating any more.
disgusting taste and texture! Too sweet to eat especially BREAKFAST! "Wha" Happened? I grew up enjoying the Quaker Instant Oatmeal all my life. I am very sad and have nothing for breakfast today since I had to throw your product in the garbage. Quaker needs a wake up call because the quality of the products sucks now. Quaker was the only name synonymous with oatmeal all these long years. What a pity how gross it now is.

Too much sugar and cinnamon
I know this is supposed to be apple cinnamon flavored, but the manufacturers went overboard to the point that it's difficult to stomach. Kind or Nature's Path make much better oatmeal that won't make you feel like you're giving yourself diabetes.

Artificial sweetened. Major tummy ache.
Don't eat this stuff. It tastes good, BUT it's sweetened with artificial sweetener which can cause tummy aches. It took me a few weeks to figure out what was giving me tummy aches, and lord behold it was this.

Has artificial sweetener sucralose not on Label
These companies should have to put exact ingredients in the products. Shouldn't have to go to web site to figure out what is in the food. Very disappointed in Quaker.

The best
For over a decade now this has been my favorite oatmeal. It’s a wonderful quick snack for work, it fills you up for hours and tastes great. Even with the inflation gouging of companies, I feel Quaker hasn’t raised their prices too much post pandemic. I love this stuff! 100/10

Tastes great
I love the convenience of the instant packs. It's quick to make and taste great. I love the apple cinnamon flavor and it even has tiny pieces of dried apple in it.

Great tasting and convenient
I love these oatmeal cups! They all taste great but I like the apple one the most. So easy and quick to prepare. I love that it comes in a cute little microwavable cup, anything to avoid extra dishes. I can begin my day knowing I had a healthy breakfast.

New Great Taste apples and cinnamon tastes vile!!!
I used to love apples and cinnamon oatmeal for breakfast, that was until I purchased a box of apples and cinnamon with the banner of great new taste on the box. Took one bite and almost puked. I thought there was a rotten apple in the pack..... nope... tried some more packs.... and same disgusting flavor. Will not be buying this flavour again until quaker oats returns the recipe back to how it was.

Love that it tastes like apple crisp.
Tastes like apple crisp which is yummy to me. When making oatmeal I will only pour hot water onto it and mix.

The changes have made this inedible
I have been buying apples and cinnamon instant oatmeal for 3 years. I eat a package everyday, as it is one of the few breakfast foods I can eat. The changes that have been made in the last 20 pack are terrible. Oatmeal is smaller and takes longer to get soft, and there is absolutely no flavor at all. Not even a hint of Apple or cinnamon, I took 2 bites and threw it away. Will try other brands in the future.

Alcoholic taste
I just bought a box of apples cinnamon oatmeal and it is absolutely disgusting! It tastes like alcohol. I just made myself a bowl about 10 mins ago and I can’t even eat it! Total waste of money. I’ll stick to my maple brown sugar next time. Very disappointed. And just to make sure I wasn’t crazy I also made it on the stove top and it was still gross!

Allergic Reaction
I ate 2 packets of this oatmeal and litterally right after I experienced my throat feeling itchy and my arms itchy. My eye ended up swelling up. I had to take 2 Benadryl’s for the swelling to go down.
