Get the other Melissa & Doug Cleaning Set!
My son loved this but I cannot understand why they would make it with so many pieces. My son constantly took it apart and it was so annoying. We sold this set and bought him the other one and I’m so happy we did.

Pieces come apart ALL THE TIME
This cleaning set looks absolutely adorable so I’ll give it a star for that but literally my 18 month old baby is able to take this set apart. It comes in pieces and has a plastic class that keeps the pieces together. It was a very, not well thought through plan for the manufacturer on this product. Definitely look for something different that doesn’t come apart and isn’t held together by a plastic piece.

Cute but not practical.
Love the concept/idea they had going here, but the quality is horrible. The sticks since it is two pieces (mop, dust pan, & broom) are wobbly. Super wobbly. Not sturdy at all. It’s a super cute set though.

Broken items
Multiple items broke inside or could not be used to build the stand. See picture with screw that cannot be screwed in. One of the sticks for the mop had broken so I had to superglue it myself to fix.

Disappointed in quality
I’m disappointed that the broom, swiffer and dust pan come in pieces. They are aren’t sturdy like the traditional set. And the bottom of our broom came unglued day 2.

These are the cutest and tiniest versions of the reals this and they are so detailed. My kids use their imagination and love playing with this. I think it is great for toddlers who need to have a play routine to eventually build a great skill set. The sets materials are sturdy and very useful to put to practice. I would rather have my daughter play with something of the sort versus non skilled play sets. Overall great addition!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were so excited to receive the Melissa & Doug Deluxe Dust! Sweep! Mop! Cleaning Playset. We already had another Melissa and Doug cleaning set, but this one is way better! The most loved parts were the squirt bottle, the sponge and felt 'paper' towel, and the little red duster. The toy is really sturdy and made with wood, but also very easy to put together. It's perfect for my toddler but my older kid loved it as well! I highly recommend this toy! It's great for play but could also be used as actual cleaning equipment when you're teaching kids to help around the house!
