Construction Site: Farming Strong, All Year Long - by Sherri Duskey Rinker (Hardcover)

My daughter adores this, and this one is one of her favorites. She was so excited to receive it for Christmas!

I highly recommend to boys and girls who love farming and construction equipment, My three year old is obsessed with this book and was quickly able to name, identify all the trucks included. We will slowly collect all of the books in this series.

My kiddo loves these books so much and this book has great illustrations, a fun story and it’s a good length for reading at bedtime!

This is NOT a board book!!!! It's hardcover with paper pages. This book does not seem to be available in Board Book format as of Oct 2024. The book itself is cute, although not as catchy as the original. Packaging was ok; It was this and another Construction book both thrown into a box with some air packs, but nothing to keep them from moving around in the box. It's a book, so that's not a big deal, but it seem like the two books could have been packaged in a smaller package.

This is a great book and I received it in good condition, but it is not a board book as advertised. It is a hardcover book with paper pages. I bought this specifically because I was needing a board book. They were a good deal, so I’ll be keeping them but will have to save them for when my little one is older.

I love this book. As a female farmer I’m shocked at the other review. Can we just chill on the book police happening. Yes- it has a lot of female characters and my SON hasn’t complained one time. We need to chill as adults. It’s a great book. If your kids like farms and construction books. They will like this.

It is in fact not a board book. It’s a hard back.

I enjoy her writing style and rhymes.

I don’t normally write reviews but though I think this book is really cute in a lot of ways, I’m just annoyed with the HUGE push of the female side in this book. Now I’m not sexist and not here to start a debate, I’m a woman myself. But seriously, it’s just too much. Every single mention of a new character in the book is “her/she” except a pickup truck. And when the male characters are mentioned, it’s not emphasized that they are male “he/him” like they do with allllll the other characters, making sure to say “she/her.” This may seem silly to some but I feel like it needs to be balanced. Literally all the new characters are females. I’m glad they’re including females but it just seems too pushy on the subject. That aside, it’s a cute book, a little longer and has good information on how a farm is run.
