Targus Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headset

Worked for two days and is now useless. I can't hear and no one can hear me. The headset is paired with bluetooth fully charged, and I have followed all the troubleshooting steps, but nothing can get the brand new headset to work.

I was able to pair my phone as soon as I turned them on. 2. The voice assistance lets me know when power is turned on or off and pairing is complete. 3. The soft cushioning on the ear phones and headband makes them extremely comfortable. 4. The headband is adjustable. 5. The battery lasts a long time. I was able to attend multiple Zoom meetings and then go for a walk without having to recharge the battery.

I’m not subjected to sitting at my desk during my nay calls. With these i can easily walk around and do grab a snack or get something i need. The microphone is crisp and clear. And the audio is also top notch. I’ve already recommended these to many colleagues.

Bonuses are them being wireless, great range, a bit like sound blockers, and having a mic attachable feature with spin adjustment. I'm cool with black, but other colors would be gobbled up, I'm sure. These are definitely long wear, maybe forget you have them on too. Quality in use - no issues so far and quick set up time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was wanting a new headset for work at home and decided to try this Targus-Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headset. I was confused at first when I opened the headset up because there was no mic despite a mic being displayed on the packaging. It turns out the mic is detachable. While the packaging says as much, it is in tiny font. This is an important detail that should pop more for potential buyers. Very good sound quality. Very comfortable on the ears. Excellent mic sound quality per co-workers' opinions. "Clear and crisp" were the adjectives. Easy to set up via Bluetooth on my PC. Instructions were helpful. The volume adjustment functionality is awkward, but works once users test it out a bit. There is a wheel around the right ear stereo that you can turn clockwise to turn the volume up and counter clockwise to turn the volume down. This is not intuitive and is not explained very well in the instructions. It works, but will be an adjustment for new users who are used to a smaller scroll wheel or button for volume adjustments. The mute function is the worst part of the product. There are two mute buttons on the headset. The first is a very small button at the base of the mic, nearest to the left ear stereo. This button is so small that it's difficult to get used to where it is. Annoyingly, you have to hold the mute button for 2 whole seconds before it registers that you want to mute or unmute your mic. This will cause awkward pauses in meetings. This needs to be immediate, not delayed. The second way to mute is not better, because you still need to hold the button down for 2 minutes. Even worse, this second mute button is the SAME button for answering and hanging up calls. This is an odd choice in design, chiefly because users will no doubt end up hanging up on the call when all they meant to do was unmute. This is probably why the awkward 2 second hold to mute/unmute was implemented, but it was a needless addition. They should have kept the call/hangup and mute buttons separate. All in all it's a good product. I'd give it a 4 of 5 stars due to the awkward volume, mute/unmute, call/hangup functionality. I would recommend the headset to other users for meetings and in office use, but not without warning first about some of the awkward features. That being said, the wireless component by far outweighs the negatives of this product.

I also used to have issues with my microphone on my laptop and these made it easy for everyone else to hear me. I also love that they are wireless and can be controlled from the ear and mic.

First, they’re comfortable to wear and easily adjust so different family members can wear them. Second, they have excellent sound quality and I have a new appreciation for music wearing them. Third, they’re wireless and can easily move a good distance from my phone without losing signal. My husband and kids also use them on video games. They add the microphone to it as well. These are really good sounding and I really like how comfortable they are too. I expect them to last a while. The quality seems to be there.

The way how the headphones fit feels a little weird to me, as im used to have them fit to my ear and cover it. They were easy to pair up with my computer, no cords needed. Just make sure bluetooth is turned on on your computer. I dont think they are noise canceling though as I could still hear noises from around me. The sound is fine. Also these are so easy to charge, which I do at night so in the morning they are ready and I dont have to deal with wires.

The removable mic makes it more compact for just using to listen to music. And it is comfortable for a headset that sits on your ears but doesn’t cover them completely.

I wish there was an option to wireless connect to my computer without bluetooth through maybe a usb attachment. Overall a great product.

It attached to my phone easily. I can hear the clients well and they can hear me. It has really helped with a hands free approach so that I can still do other things at the same time. It is comfortable and easy to put on. I do not like to hold a phone up to my ear and this has really helped me to not have to do that! I would highly recommend this headset.
