i have used philps shavers for a loing time, and so far this model is the best, i get a real clean shave as always but this shaver feels more comfortable in your hand, this model i bought was a philips refurbished one which still included a full warranty.i have bought refurbished shavers before and i highly recommend them,how can you go wrong with the same warranty as a new one, they always look new to me anyway.

The overall size of the shaver head is too large preventing the blades to get close around the nose and ears.

Needs USB C charge port.
I would have given it 5 stars apart from one feature. The power socket should be a standard USB C so that it can be charged from the same charger used for laptops and phones without hunting for the right cable and carrying a non standard cable when traveling. Otherwise an excellent razor. I use it daily.

Unless I shave daily, this shaver misses a lot of hairs. In particular, any hairs longer than a mm (eg, under my nose) are difficult to remove. Other than that, it does what is expected.

I should have done this sooner.
For most of my life I have used a safety razor because I didn’t have a good experience with electric razors when I was a young man. I never seemed to get a good shave and the razor burn was uncomfortable. I purchased the Philips 5000 after much deliberation and reading of product reviews of both the Philips, and competitors products. I am certain that I made the right choice. I am completely satisfied with my Philips 5000. It has great battery life and delivers a smooth shave without any irritation.

Excellent rasage
C'est mon troisième ou quatrième rasoir. Je change tous les 10 ans. Je suis très impressionné par l'évolution du produit. Il est stable, plus léger, se rince facilement, presque sans bruit et très efficace sur la barbe d'une journée comme de trois jours. La charge de la pile dure facilement 2 à 3 semaines. Je le recommande vivement.

Disappointed
Performance is very disappointing. I have had many Philips shavers before but this one is just ineffective. It takes twice as long to shave than my previous Philips shaver as I have to keep going areas multiple times, and this makes more skin sore . I do not recommend this model .
