Blade to Electric?
Coming from blade, to electric after 45 years of shaving I found the initial experience a little sore and time consuming. After finding my footing and relaxing my approach to the task I found that the machine was very capable of a perfect shave in under 5 minutes. Having had to shave twice a day for most of my adult life this ha s saved time and is as good as a single blade shave

Mostly Good
Works really well overall. Shaves nice and close like a blade and seems to have an excellent battery life. Loses one star due to not managing very slightly longer hair with the circular blades, and the long hair trimmer is quite flimsy and awkward to use.

Disappointed. Harsh on skin. Everytime I use it and shaver cuts my face.

Nice close shave.
Shave's very nicely now. I do find the head part to be a bit too baulky, but am trying to see if I can find better ways of shaving if I change the way I hold the shaver.

A step down from previous Norelco shaver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall it's not quite as good. I've had Norelco shavers for many years and got this replacement because my old unit's battery was going bad. (1) New unit does not live up to Philip's claim for up to 1 hour of battery use. I charged it for well over 24 hours before first use. It ran down to zero in 35-40 minutes. I just timed it again and it showed one lighted bar (status of charge) after 28-30 minutes. This is now my recharging point. (2) The redesigned external surfaces [star wars/stealth] are unnecessary and make it slightly less ergonomic. The relocated built-in trimmer is now fairly cumbersome to use. (3) Loss of the nose trimmer is a detractor. I had to buy one in addition to the shaver. dww

Not shaving evenly .
It’s not shaving evenly, Some hair not cutting at all some part baby face so deep doesn’t matter how many times u pass from same spot not cutting evenly not recommended.

Great Shaver
I have been using Philps shavers since the 1990s and this is far and away the best one I have ever used. The USB charging is a great move as I can now charge wherever I am. 1h to full charge is also convenient. My only small gripe is that it does not come with a protector cap for the foils.

Quick and easy
It works well - all these years i used Bruan and really thought nothing shave as good. This shaver is very good! i was also skeptical because it use a usb cable to charge - but all good. Im very happy with my Phillips - its part of my morning routine now. Sometimes it screams like its dry - not sure what to do if i have to do something? I use alcohol once a month to clean the heads.
