I have purchased these in the past.
I'm using this as a surge protector for my 65" Sony TV, Nvidia Shield and my wireless mesh node. If we get a large surge, this will burn up and my electronics won't. I had issues in the past living where there was lots of lightning. Had other Tripp LIte surge strips work as expected. The strip burns up but my electronics survive. The warranty is worth the price. It has plenty of plugs for devices. I don't have a lot of devices but if you do this will work well. The Tel/Modem ports I don't use in my current setup. In the past, these devices have worked great and saved my modem during a lightning storm. For the cost, this is a good surge protector for the money.

I use it for multi plug ins for sewing accessories, printer, computer etc. The only problem is with it being black and the off/on button is in a place for me to see. I'm 85 yrs. old. I need to turn off and on as I have LED trees plug into it.

Complete Confidence
I have two other Tripp Lite surge protectors, bought many years ago. Nary a problem, especially when we went thru the big freeze, in TX, in Feb. 2021. Electricity cutting on and off for days. Circuit breakers cutting on and off. None of my electronics suffered any damage. Love the new one that has 12 outlets. Saves me from buying another as most of my entertainment electronics are in same area and have to only use one outlet now.

Someone else's loss may have just saved my equipment
My son just lost his 65" TV to a lightning surge using a competitors protector, so I looked around and found I had a NAS, router, dock, monitor, and 2 printers that were unprotected. I have three other Tipp Lite protectors, and after comparing the warranty and level of protection I chose this 12-outlet with room for transformer blocks. I now have all my home computer and entertainment equipment protected by Tripp Lite.

The specs look as good as it gets
What's to say about a surge protector? Honestly, I'd have preferred something with fewer outlets but the same or higher joules of surge protection and an equal or lower clamping voltage. This unit is about it, though.You can find higher joule ratings with also higher clamping voltages. You can find fewer outlets with fewer joules. Oh, and I also needed the 8 ft cord. I haven't had any problems plugging things into this unit. Supposedly, once all the protection is gone, it will stop working, which is good. I wish surge protectors would tell you how much protection has been used to date, though, but none of them do.

High-pitch Noise makes this a bad option for a quiet room
Used to protect home theater equipment. Great layout and build quality. One issue with the unit is that it emits a very faint high pitch noise when powered. I had to stop using it in the home theater because of that - the whining noise was annoying when the room was silent.

Ideal design for components
This is exactly what I needed - trustworthy protection and the right amount of the right kinds of sockets. This hub has enough space for my switch, modem, gateway, access point, hue bridge, and all the little home automation hubs modern life has tossed at me. The wider sockets are great for the pesky ac adapter that don't play nice. I love the plug covers that protect the socket from dust and debris. I'm going to order another one for my PC system.

Problem Solved
This is the second Tripp surge protector that I purchased in order to set up another wifi at another location, after the first one successfully protected a sensitive wireless modem from having to be replaced because of power surges. Three years ago, after two modems fried in one week, a savvy tech person advised me to get a surge protector for the incoming phone line, and my third modem has lasted three years so far.

I would recommend
Entertainment center and Home office use quality seems good and plenty of outlets. I already own other tripp-lite products that entised me to purchase this style, joules and voltage clamping were what I was looking for.
