Description

The Tripp Lite® by Eaton® 6-Outlet Surge Protector with Clamps and USB Charging offers economical AC surge suppression for protection of workstations, desktop PCs, telecom systems, and other sensitive electronics. Built-in AC surge suppression shields connected equipment from damage and performance problems due to transient surges. USB charging ports offer fast charging for smartphones, tablets, MP3 players, and other portable devices. The TLP606DMUSB offers 6 total outlets, a 6-ft. cord, 2 USB charging ports, and a diagnostic LED to warn of suppressor damage. AC suppression rated at 2,100 Joules shields equipment from surges and line noise. This matte black surge suppressor has clamps that attach to the side of the desk, workbench, or table. 2 knobs easily clamp to desk for better accessibility to plugs - 4 standard and 2 adapter-spaced plugs..

Best idea ever!

I use this in my home studio, clamps right on to my desk and doesn't budge! So convenient and with the ample surge protection, I'm at ease knowing my pricy recording devices are protected!

Great for a desk with computer and peripherals.

Love the ability to clamp to a desk, have lots of room for regular and boxy plugs. Great for a desk with computer monitor, and other peripherals. I like that this protects all my devices from electrical issues.

Great product, well built, and I'd recommend it to anyone

We use two Protect It! 6-Outlet Clamp-Mount Surge Protectors on our bedside tables. Between table lamps, a salt lamp, smart assistants (Echo in our case), clocks, phone chargers, Bluetooth speakers, etc. the space behind the tables was a mess. With these surge protectors clamped to the lower shelves on each table, things are 1) MUCH neater and 2) protected from electrical surges. These clamp well, have quality sockets and USB ports, and are very well built.

Easy access with clamping to desktop

One of the things that makes strip plugs so difficult is that they are always hard to get to. I love that I can clamp these to my desktop for easy access. No more crawling around under my desk!

Great for standing desks or easy access power

IMO a must have for a standing desk! Makes wiring desktop electronics and the standing desk motor to it super easy, and I think it beats screwing in an under-desk power strip. The USB ports are a nice touch too.

Good idea but mostly plastic construction

I have owned several Tripp-lite surge suppressors over the years and I trust them. This one is ok but isn't perfect. The good:The electrical components feel like quality parts, the cord is thick, and the outlets grip plugs very well. Room for improvement: The housing appears to be 100% plastic. Since this is designed to be clamped to a table edge I think a metal housing would have been a better choice just in case it gets bumped hard or pulled off the table onto the floor. The screws that are used to grip the table are also plastic. Note: This uses a traditional straight 3-prong plug, not a slim profile plug.

Fantastic surge protector with an excellent design.

Tripp-Lite makes fantastic surge protectors, this one is another great product. I use it behind a tv, the clamps lock to a support bracket and hold the surge protector in place and it allows to keep all the cords hidden.

Clamp On Surge Protector

Mounted on a computer desk. Easy to install and plenty of clamp space to attached to various thickness. Sturdy and well manufactured. USB ports are a great feature with outlets well spaced. Would like to see 8 or 10 ft cord for other applications. Recommended!

High quality unit and I highly recommend it!!

I recently purchased a desk for which I use to work from home. The kitchen table was killing me. While the desk manufacturer offered a mountable power strip/surge protector --- I knew I needed one with a name and a standard behind it. I chose Tripp-Lite. I went went the 6 outlet (with 2 USB ports) unit because of the flexibility it provided. It mounts easily and securely to the desk and I feel the equipment attached to it is in the best hands possible. Even with several cords plugged in to the unit --- the unit doesn't budge or even look like it is strained. This is a high quality unit and I highly recommend it!!

I would buy this again and gladly recommend it to friends.

I removed an older version of tripp.lite surge protector to be able to move the device behind and up off of my desk area. I love it. It took me a day to see the best way to install, but I am good at this and it worked out fine.
