Two months old kitten loves it

My cat loves this. She really likes the sisal rope and she also plays with the bottom part that has the jingle ball. This is my second purchase of this product because she destroyed the sisal rope part from using it so much. She used to claw my carpet but doesn’t do that anymore since she started using this.

Like the one piece to screw together, my cat instantly took to it

I had this less than a week and it fell apart. The top part with the tether popped off, leaving exposed staples. I couldn't securely re-attach it so I had to throw the whole thing out because I didn't want my cats to injure themselves on the staples.

I have a very, very active seven-month-old kitten, who in addition to having Orange Chaos tendencies that mean he needs something constuctive to occupy him, he is also a little picky about his scratching posts. I got this one because it had the ball base, hoping he'd at least use that or the post ... and he loves this thing. It took him a second to figure out how to get the balls to go--they're loose inside the base, so cats need to poke and move to keep them going--but once he got it, he started playing with it for long periods at a time. He also uses the top to stretch-scratch a few times a day. He mostly ignores the ball on top, though, maybe because it's on the heavier side for him. Which gets me to the size consideration: my cat is small even for his age, maybe eight pounds or a little more, and the post stays sturdy for him, but a cat more in the twelve-plus range who is an active scratcher might tip it a little as the base is hollow and somewhat light. So something to keep in mind. But overall VERY happy with this purchase for me and recommend for active kitties. (It's also holding up really well even after a month of pretty regular use.)

My kittens absolutely love this. They play with it for hours and hours and hours.

I put this scratching post near my dining room and it is my cat, Timothy's favorite (I bought a few for various areas of my house...multiple fur babies). Timothy had a ball with the ball! He literally guards it and if he sees my other cats, Luwanda and Julio coming, he gets over there and starts playing with it. Very fast shipping and professional packaging, no damage. Would definitely order another...or 2.
