Smells terrible even after airing outside for a day
It smells terrible. Aired out for the day outside but it has not removed the smell. Added a star because the design is cute. If you are looking to use this the day it arrives, the smell is opposing.

We recommend wiping the mat down with 50/50 solution of water and vinegar. Please allow 24 hours to air dry. This should remove any new mat smells.

My daughter loves this mat. The design is super cut and the colors really stand out. This will be her first yoga mat, and she has already told me how comfortable it is. Okay, not great
I have a Gaiam Yoga Mat and I am happy with it, but this one seems lower quality. It smells quite potently of chemicals when you unroll it and is thinner than my other yoga mat (which had a similar price point). I think it will be fine for my son, but was surprised to find it was lower quality than my other mat.

Perfect Kids Mat!
Love, love this yoga mat! Bought it for my 3 year old son, who would hang all over me and try to do poses whilst I was doing my practice. He is so excited about it and it just makes both of us happy to see the beautiful print and color on the mat.
