Heart "gem" had fallen off

When I received this helmet, the heart shape "gem" shown on the front was loose in the shipping box. There was only a little brown paper in the box which clearly didn't protect the helmet. Fortunately, I was able to buy some super glue and reattach the heart. Now it just remains to be seen how long it will last and if any of the other decorations on the helmet will also fall off. I would have returned it but didn't want to disappoint our granddaughter. Hope I didn't make a mistake. The three stars is for the design, which she loves.
