Sounds good
No cassette player even though it was in the description and the video showed one. So much for an all-in-one.

Worth the Price and the Features are Great!!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What attracted me to the AZ797T Philips Sound machine first was its compact size. This is my first time purchasing a Philips CD and Cassette player. My previous CD and cassette player stopped working and I was trying to find a replacement that at least had all of the same features I am a lover of great sounding music regardless of the genre. But music doesn't sound great unless you have quality sound system. This CD Soundmachine sounds really great for the price and the extra added features like Bluetooth that my old player didn't have is amazing. I am old school and I still like recording CDs and listening to my recorded music. For some reason when, I visit my sister's house the Bluetooth doesn't always work. So, I can't use my cell phone to play my digital playlist. With this CD Sound-machine I have a backup option to play my CDs because I still record all of my digital music on CDs. Over the years I have had various brand name CD player boom boxes and I am very impressed with the price, the quality and the compact size of the AZ797T Soundmachine. I definitely recommend this product.

Philips bluetooth boombox drops connection
My 7000 series, Model AZ797T boombox won't stay connected to the bluetooth transmitter. The connection is dropped anywhere from a few minutes to an hour after the boombox has been playing, and seems to be caused by a moment of silence in the music, such as when changing tracks, or hitting 'pause' at the source. The quickest way to recover is to cycle power on the boombox, but the volume setting is lost when I do this. While the problem does show up when the boombox is cold, it shows up much more frequently when the boombox is warm, dropping the connection at 'every' pause. The boombox indicates 'connected' at all times, even though it is not connected. The problem is not with the bluetooth transmitter. I have a JBL bluetooth speaker which works perfectly with this transmitter.
