Unacceptable Packaging

I’m very disappointed with how my recent order was packaged. The item arrived in a plain brown shipping box only, with no retail or product packaging inside. It appeared as if the item was simply placed into a generic box, similar to mailing something from home. This was purchased as a birthday gift for my mother, and receiving it this way completely took away from the presentation and excitement. It also raises concerns about care, handling, and overall quality control. This is not the standard I expect from Target, especially for shipped items and gifts.
