3rd time I used it it smelled like burning plastic

I need a refund right away. I only purchased it 2 weeks ago and tried using it for the 3rd time yesterday and it smelled like burning plastic. We got headaches from the fumes and had to stick the whole rice cooker with the uncooked rice outside on our balcony.
