Q: Why is there such a bad smell? I’ve had it for about three weeks and my filter says it’s OK. I’ve washed it out with soap and water. Let it dry before I refilled it and rinsed filter, there’s also no dishwashing instructions anywhere

Doesn't work
I have purchased replacement filters several times. The water will not filter through. I kept buying replacement filters thinking that was the problem. Now that the warranty has expired I believe the problem may be with the dispenser itself.

Leaks Everywhere
I bought this and it leaks, the whole thing emptied itself into my fridge overnight. I went and exchanged it for a new one, the new one leaks too. Thankfully I tested this one before just sticking it in the fridge. 2 of 2 for leaking out the bottom.

New design= leakage
When I first bought PUR Plus dispenser, I loved it and still have it after 3 years of owning it. When I got another Aussie dog, I decided to buy a second one to keep up with them. I'm not sure what changed with this but like other reviews, it started leaking. The one on the left is 3 years old and the one on the right is only 2 months old. I ended up returning it today (thankfully because of the target app) as it had small leaks then big ones like this. It's unfortunate but won't buy another PUR until it is fixed properly.
