Buy this for powder foundation

I don’t know very much about make up. I only use a medium powder. I used to order the Clinique powder applicator until it was discontinued. I tried every other beauty blender and brush and this is the one. If you use powder as foundation, this is perfection. Highly recommend.

some of the views are very critical of this product but I really liked how easily it blended my powder and concealer.

Picks up too much product

The concept is good but it failed to deliver for me. Might be more practical for those who are MUAs or like the heavy look but I found it picked up too much product and would leave me looking cakey. Slightly disappointed as I’ve used a number of brushes produced by this brand and it’s always been a good experience.

I have a very light powder and i found i was using twice as much because the sponge was absorbing so much of it! Having said that, once you get used to it, it does blend well.

Not for me

Gave this a go but don't think I have enough technique/experience to use it well. Felt it over powdered my face and made it very dry looking. Couldn't manage a light application, will be going back to large soft powder brush.

Disappointed...

I generally really like real techniques products, but this didn't work for me. I found the sponge picked up far too much product and left my skin looking over-powdered and dry. I think if you like baking or heavily setting your makeup then this would work fantastically, but it didn't really suit me and my dry dry skin!!!

A nice idea but difficult to use in practise

I liked the idea of this product but in reality it didn’t work for me. I prefer a light powder and this applied too much product and I had to use a brush to blend. I found it a little stiff and difficult. I understand They’re trying to bring out another product as an alternative sponge but I felt the origins worked just as well for powder.
