RealRooms Chester 5 Shelf Open Bookcase, White and Honey

Although the box arrived a little damaged, the contents were packed well and arrived quickly. I haven't pulled it all out to insure they're intact, because the parts/instruction sheet on top, stopped me dead in my tracks. The wood on top, is per order, finished well, and good looking and the price was right, but the schematics/pictured "instruction" only, to put it together is mostly on one page of all parts spread out, at least from the center, but NOT broken down step by step. I thought it was an initial overview, but that was IT, all, alpha AND omega! (If I could put a pic of Munch's "The Scream" here, I would.) I've put smaller shelves together with step by step instructions, so, I thought I could do it, but it's going to have to be sheer grit and guesswork. (I think I can tell where that tiny pack of glue goes?)I was excited to receive it, but it still sits in the open box across a pathway on my floor (at least I have another route), due to poor "instructions" with all parts spread out on a one page picture. After pondering that overwhelming page and realizing that's all there was for instructions, I haven't even bothered to see if I have all the parts and connecting wood and hardware pieces. Didn't have to be this daunting. Trying to hire someone to help now. If that doesn't work, may have to look into tranquilizers and set aside a week with self care breaks to tackle it, before venturing back. Didn't have to be this way.

The two sides would not fit into the back pieces as per the instructions. Grooves were too small for the parts on the back to be inserted and it was impossible to do.
