A: Hi, We whiten our 100% bamboo paper towels using elemental chlorine-free (ECF) technology, a process in which no elemental chlorine is used in the bleaching sequences. Domestically, ECF bleaching is recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as being the “Best Available Technology” to bleach paper products. Our 100% recycled paper towels are whitened using oxygen-based agents and/or hydrogen peroxide (which also means no chlorine).

SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE RECYCLED
These paper towels are so much better than the recycled ones it baffles me why Reel even bothers selling the recycled version. Having said that, they could be stronger and more durable. One section isn't enough to dry wet hands without falling apart. Two sections work well, though. I also wish they were individually wrapped. I buy several rolls at a time and need to remove them from the clumsy massive paper packaging to store them on a shelf. I would prefer they were individually wrapped so that they could stay cleaner until I use them.

The paper towels are great. I don't care for the toilet tissue. I would like it to be softer. I will continue to use the paper towels but will wait to order the toilet tissue when you figure out how to make it softer.
