Q: Why does it say on the box it is 36" high? The on line description says 38"!
A: The gate itself is 36 inches tall. We recommend mounting it no more than 2 inches from the floor, which would make it the 38 inches listed in the description.

Q: What is the distance between the two mounting where you pressure mount it, my railing has odd shape, only the top and bottom has a little square on it, please help.
A: Hello, we do not recommend using a pressure mounted gate at the top of the stairs.

Q: Does it need to be drilled in the wall and the banister? We can fix the dry wall, but I don’t want to damage the banister.

Q: What is the size of the opening? Can one comfortably carry a baby through it?
A: Hello, This gate completely swings open to the wall so the opening would be as large as the opening is at the top of your stairs.
