TERRIBLE gate, does not stay up even with wall cups. I wish I would’ve kept the packing so it could be retuned. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Toddler hands can get stuck
The gate works fine, stays in place, and works as intended. But with a curious little one, they may try to stick their hand through. And the hand may get stuck Luckily I was able to get my daughter’s hand out on my own but I was very close to not being able to get it out. Warning for those using it for little ones!

Not truly pressure mounted
I bought this gate specifically because I needed a pressure mounted gate for my rental apartment. When I read the instructions after receiving it states you MUST use the wall cups and the wall cups can only be drilled into the wall/door frame! Why would you market this as pressure mounted if it requires hardware! Also the tightening mechanism is trash.

Didn't work at all. Unlevel. Width units are more than .5 inches apart so making it fit in your gap is near impossible. The only way this would remotely work is if you munted it into your wall which defeats the purpose of a pressure gate. Images on site and it's packaging show it mounted with crown molding, but even if you hardware mounted this it would never work that way. It's just bad Photoshop. Materials are the flimsiest plastic and would be unable to hold the weight of a small child or medium sized dog touching it or pressing against it.

Great for low traffic areas
We have this gate along with several other gates that screw in to the wall. I would not use on any stairs or places you need to frequently step over, as the gate does not have a door, but it’s great if you have an area of the house you want to keep your children or pets out of that you don’t need frequent access. I like that we can move it around as needed and it does expand pretty wide.

I just put up this child gate. It's great. People that only give 1-2 stars don't know how to install it. It's very tight between the walls when you turn the knob. I don't understand how people can't figure this out. Great little gate
