I was pleasantly surprised that it truly is ammonia-free, yet the color came out rich and even. I especially loved the strengthening effect — there’s noticeably less breakage. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I saw this on influenster, I immediately took the chance because I know this is my mom’s color and she always uses Revlon. Needless to say, 5/5. My mom has been buying this exact brand and color for her hair needs and will be repurchasing for as long as she needs color. It is safe for the hair and scalp and it has all the tools someone needs to successfully DIY hair coloring. It is easy enough to do it on your own and results last for a reasonable amount of time.

No more wasting time on trying to figure out how box dye works or the timing process. It made my hair soft after using and had a nice but not strong scent. Since my hair is on the darker side it helped lighten my hair in certain places which added to my color

Plus, this is one of the least harsh dyes I’ve ever used on my hair. The conditioner that comes with it is incredible – it completely moisturizes the hair and easy to apply.
