The Safety 1st 3-in-1 Nursery Thermometer lets you choose the best way to check temperature when your child isn’t feeling well. It can be used orally, rectally, or under the arm and beeps when the reading is complete. The flexible tip is more comfortable for baby during a rectal reading and features an over-insertion gauge that gives parents added confidence while checking for fevers, so that they can focus on helping baby feel better. The 3-in-1 Nursery Thermometer includes both a protective storage case and a long life battery.

A: Thank you for your question. To change from Celsius to Fahrenheit, you would press the button to power on the thermometer. As soon as the " --- " displays on the screen, press and hold the button for at least 3 seconds to switch between C and F. Release button when the desired indicator displays on screen.

A: Hello there. Per the instructions, you will need a Philips screwdriver to loosen battery cover on back. Use a toothpick to remove old battery and insert new 1.5 volt battery (LR41 or equivalent).

You buy a thermometer to take temperatures. This one does not give you accurate temperatures. That’s its only job!!!!! Readings are always 96 degrees. So annoyed. This is useless

Doesn’t work as advertised
I have been trying (with a sick child) to change the temperature from C to F based on the instructions provided. It should be a simple fix and it’s a function that is advertised so it should work. Extremely frustrated.

The worst concerning thermometer on the shelf. Kept getting a reading of 99.4, 99.8, 100.1 only my child…all temperatures landed me at urgent care. At urgent care I was told all is well🙏. Don’t buy!!!

Don't waste your money, just buy one that costs a little more. This thermometer is not accurate at all. Tried on 3 different people. It gives temperatures that are lower than they actually are. Also, will give you a different temp everytime within minutes...way off!!!

Horrible
We bought this so we could take rectal temperatures for our 3 month old. It said his temperature was 99.5, then 104.9, then 100.6. We went to the doctor and it was actually 100.2. Don’t trust this thermometer.

Highly inaccurate and not reliable
This thermometer is very inaccurate, and I only knew because I used it on myself after. This thermometer read 98.1 for my 7 month old under his arm, and on me it was 96.4. I remeasured using our regular thermometer (ReliOn brand) and now it showed my temp at 97.0 and his at 100.9. Not helpful when you have a sick baby.

The size is good for newborns, but it takes a long time to get an underarm temperature, and the beep is really loud.
