A: Hello there. Per the instructions, you will need a Philips screwdriver to loosen battery cover on back. Use a toothpick to remove old battery and insert new 1.5 volt battery (LR41 or equivalent).

Not accurate
Takes forever and does not seem to be accurate. Child had fever, trying to determine how high, it read 96.7°. Kid with fever - 96.7°. Kid feeling fine - 97.7° Adult feeling fine - 96°. 🤷🏻♀️

Highly inaccurate and not reliable
This thermometer is very inaccurate, and I only knew because I used it on myself after. This thermometer read 98.1 for my 7 month old under his arm, and on me it was 96.4. I remeasured using our regular thermometer (ReliOn brand) and now it showed my temp at 97.0 and his at 100.9. Not helpful when you have a sick baby.

Tough to use with a moving baby
The size is good for newborns, but it takes a long time to get an underarm temperature, and the beep is really loud.

Poor quality
I picked up my order through curbside, pick up and the box was empty. So I had to go inside to the courtesy desk. I was given another one by a sales associate. And the second one does not even work. It turns on and quickly turns off, so I don't get a reading at all.It's malfunctionin.

Literally just purchased October 22nd, used it twice in the last two days and the battery is already dying. Takes forever to get a reading, glad I used it myself before testing on a baby because I cannot imagine a baby sitting still long enough to get an accurate reading. Will be purchasing something different before baby actually arrives.

Takes Forever
30 seconds is way too long! Esp with a screaming baby when using this as a rectal thermometer. Also not sure if the reading is acurate as we have gotten various temps.

Takes too long
Varies by 1 degree from reading to reading sometimes and 30 seconds is an eternity with a baby! My son pees like crazy so this is a no go, I think he’s peed on himself 5x while using this. My advice is to get one that reads faster if measuring rectally.

Takes a Licking and keeps on Ticking
I do not want to get out instructions on how to take a temperature that's why this Grandma keeps it old school with a thermometer that does the job. I can read the digital screen with my old eyes and know when its time to call Mom or Dad! Works like new every I need it and its accurate.

This thermometer is great for babies who will sit still but tough with a toddler. It doesn't read the temperature immediately but increases incrementally with time until the temperature is read taking up to 20 seconds to read. It is accurate just take longer than some of the others I have

Can't switch to Celsius
Reads temperature quickly, but does not switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Following instructions in manual and they don't match how the product actually functions. I have to convert the temperature each time which is frustrating.

Good thermometer
I like this multifunction thermometer for my kids. It is accurate and easy to use. The results takes about 30 seconds. I have tried using it on my child's underarm and orally. The tip feels comfortable and didn't irritate my child. It is always good to have an extra thermometer at home, so I can compare the temperature. This is good to carry in the diaper bag or purse.

This has worked great. It read more accurate than our forehead thermometer and is not terrible uncomfortable for my daughter to use who is three. It read quickly and is very durable. I would recommend it.
