Sculpey Essential Tool Kit

I bought my first set about a year ago an my God best tools around they worked so well anytime I got a have chance a pick up more tool there great tools or shaping I just love them

We do alot of art this way and one of the kids favorite is sculpting.Now, sculpting can get expensive for sure but not these products they are reasonably priced and easy to use . Not to mention a pack comes with so much. These tools do exactly what they're supposed to but more! I would definitely recommend. Go ahead and add these to your collection you won't be disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a good starter sculpting set! It has a very good assortment of tools to get the job done for whatever you might need. The little rolling pin is very convenient for rolling small pieces for clay or swirling colors together. The ball points are great for creating indents to attach other pieces or for rolling the edges of a piece to cup it. Thin points are great for precision placement and line creation. I wasn't a huge fan of the roller that makes a rope pattern but that's probably only because I haven't really had a use for it yet. Over All I am very happy with this set and will continue to use it and add to it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my tools about a month ago and finally had some time to try them out and loved them. They are very easy to work with, sturdy, I especially like the cap for the pointed needle tool. For me, the different variety of tools was perfect.

At the time, I didn’t have these tools, so we had to improvise. Wow, have these made a difference!! We were able to roll out our clay, trim out our designs, and even add some textured designs. Very easy to clean up too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full disclosure, I’m a beginner at sculpting. The kit boasts 7 different tools. I really love the variety, the different sizes and shapes available. The fine pointed needle tool is a great addition for detail work or beading and I appreciate that it has a cap. The tools are flexible and easy to use. Now the negatives. It’s a lot of plastic. I would like more textures on the roller (it has a vine texture and what looks like a rope texture). My biggest issue is with the long blade. It works, but unlike the needle it doesn’t have a protective sheath. I had to be extra careful taking it out of the packaging because while most tools could be snapped out of the plastic by applying some pressure, the blade needed to be eased so it didn’t cut me. I was really grateful for the instructions on the box for how to attach the handles because it was not intuitive at all. I wasn’t sure that the handles were secured either; there was no clicking or anything to signal to me that they had snapped in place safely. I will have to store this separately or make a sleeve for it

We’ve been looking for an introductory kit for them to use they has all the tools they’ll need as they develop their skills. This Sculpey essentials kit is perfect! It has everything they’ve needed and the tools are very well made and feature great grips to make them easy to hold and use.

This would make a great gift if you add some clays with it. Some of the tools are pretty sharp and pointy so supervision is necessary with children.

I highly recommend this tool kit if you are looking to create and have some fun with clay!

The tools are smooth and glide easily and doesn’t stick while sculpting or leave any imprints in the clay. Rollers made out of rubber so no sticking, pulling or tearing the clay all while leaving clear impressions. Roller does smooth and even while cutter does clean and precise cuts.

They seem to be a great starter set (would be perfect for a kid just starting on clay work - with supervision as the blade is sharp!), I’m just not sure about my personal long term use.

They are made well and are durable, so should last a long time. The roller worked great on my clay. If making earrings make sure to use the needle end pointer to make a hole before baking. I love doing crafts and now love making earrings with this kit.
