This air conditioner is great to have because it has a functional auto sensor that turns off and on according to the temperature of the room. It's durable and quality made. It does have some noise but not alot. It has a remote control for your convenience and so far has lasted a long time with ongoing continued use. This air conditioner has the ability to really cool down a large area room. You can move it around easily because it has wheels. This looks really nice with the aesthetic black color which complements the room. It's easy to use and somewhat pricey but a good investment.

It was a hot week, the air conditioner was a lifesaver for us. It cools the room quickly. Another thing I liked was that it was easy to install.

We got this Portable AC for when power goes out and we use a generator. It is very portable and easy to move around. Assembly was pretty straight forward. I tested it in our bedroom and it does not take long to cool down the room. It fits in our window perfectly. The noise does not bother us as we are sleepers who need constant noise at night. It gets cold really quick! The remote is great, as well! This way you don't have to walk over or get out of bed to it to change your settings. Love this AC!

Delivered without any issues, packaged well as nothing was damaged when opened. The design of the machine is simple yet the button indicators are clear and easy to click. The feature where you can turn the template showing off on the plug is helpful when it is not in use.

Our AC went out when we were at our home in the Florida Keys, 90 degrees inside. We ordered it and it arrived the very next day as advertised. Easy to install and move from room to room if needed. Unit cools very well and gets very cold in a bedroom. Can be set to 69 degrees but 75 degrees is more than cool enough. Unit is pretty quiet and will not disturb sleep.

Like all portable ACs, it requires venting the exhaust hose out a window and a plan for draining the condensation, but these are expected steps. This product got us through the Louisiana heat with a struggling AC this summer. It was better than a hideous window unit. It kept 800 sq ft with 12 foot tray ceilings cool in 112 degree heat indexes this summer with a central unit that would only cool us to 78 by itself. Great buy, would purchase again.

Very disappointed at how bad the exhaust hose and connector doesn't stay together… I had to tape it together inside and out. For the cost of this a/c , you'd think they would make them better

This ac is not cooling. Have it set at 70 and it's 79 in here. My old window unit for 129 works better than this thing. Waited after return window to even set it up. Too bad on my part. Don't buy it!

This unit does a good job cooling -- on the few hot days in central NY we were able to keep the whole house cool with just this one unit. It's fairly quiet and has a good thermostat control and settings for the vent angle. It's simple to use and set up and moves easily on its casters. There are a few downsides though. While a window unit can drip condensation outside, this unit tends to fill up with water like a dehumidifier. It doesn't drain that easily. It's especially an issue in dry mode. There's a drain plug that should let you run a hose to a bucket but I couldn't get it to work. The other option is a lower drain plug but it's too low to easily get water out. The unit needs to be exhausted out a window (all air conditioners have to expel heat somewhere just of how the physics work), but this one is only designed to be used with casement windows. I'd you have a regular window you'll have to jerry-rig it and stuff some towels in the gap or something. It's a simple thing to fix but sort of annoying. The exhaust hose also isn't insulated so you get some heating behind the unit. In general this was a pretty effective unit and I'll definitely rely on it next summer. For the price I can overlook some of the flaws.

Out of the box, this seems like a well-built product. It is easy to maneuver; while hefty not as heavy as I anticipated. I bought this to cool my large living room and adjacent dining room — not disappointed in the capacity of this machine to cool things down in short order. For a 14000 btu unit, very quiet operation even at high fan setting. Some negatives: 1. No instruction manual; 2. Hose connections to the fittings are terrible — hard to put on and keep on. Once properly secured they are ok; but without an installation manual it's not good; 3. Window kit for the exhaust hose supplied does not anticipate narrow casement openings. My casement windows are only 20†wide; so needed to do some customization (required extra outlay). No insulation for window exhaust kit; no AAA batteries for the control. On balance, the product performance and quality outweighs negatives (at least for me). However, definitely potential problems with the exhaust hose and window installation kit --- i needed to purchase a 1""""x1"""" square wood dowel in order to properly seat the exhaust in the casement window; purchase air conditioner insulation; cut the supplied thermoplastic exhaust fascia down to 20"""".
