Q: Hi. I bought this vacuum couple months ago. It works super well on hardwood floor but on carpet, it is EXTREMELY difficult to move and push even with level 2 Brushroll. Is there something wrong? Help!

A: Ilove mine, Recently I accidentally sucked up gum balls and luckily this vacuum has a cup things like that go into and I flipped open thetop door and took them out and finished my floors. Good luck.
submitted byTinkerbell - 3 years agoA: I agree - on bare floors, it pushes like a champ. MUCH more resistance on carpet, especially high pile carpet. My 86 year old mother struggles to operate on high carpet.
submitted byJillian - 1 year agoA: Like most vacuum cleaners there is a suction control actually just a little round ring that usually fits down on the handle and you can either open it which will give you the ability to vacuum rugs or throw rugs without having to feel like you’re pushing 400 pounds if you feel it’s not strong enough then you can close it some and you will get section ever sincecame out that’s it that’s all I buy. I will refuse to buy a Dyson one. It is expensive to. They will fall apart easily and for the third one I just don’t like them.
submitted by6kidsinall - 1 year agoA: I would say there is something wrong with yours. We have had ours for 2 years and it is the easiest vacuum I’ve owned so far. I’ve never had an issue with this vacuum and I actually traded my Kirby in for this one. There is little to no resistance using this on the carpet with the brush roll on. LOVE this vacuum.

A: Yes! When you put the switch on bare floor the brushroll turns off.

Q: I have 2 questions: Will the hose stretch beyond it’s 5ft length? How heavy is the pod alone, and would I have to remove it to use the hose?

A: Nah. You can drag the rest of the vacuum with you as you use the hose. Assuming you are strong enough to lift or drag somewhere between 12.8-16 lbs around. I have a small dog that is heavier than this vacuum ( we feed him a lot of table scraps but he is still full of energy to want to be picked up )
submitted byWalla - 2 months agoA: The NV360’s hose is a fixed 5 ft length and does not stretch too much beyond that. To use the hose you must press the Lift-Away button to detach the pod—this pod weighs about 7.5 lbs—then attach the hose and wand for portable cleaning.

A: The HEPA filter is expensive to replace ($40 not including shipping). The foam and cloth filters can be washed and dried and reused many times. They can also be replaced if needed for around $20.

A: How does the handheld unit attach the the handle with the stretch cord? Handheld has an open opening, stretch cord has a round opening.

Wouldnt recommend.
Heavy to maneuver and the whole compartment sways to the sides when trying to vacuum. Overall this is a no for me No wonder why it’s on sale!!!! The loudness of it and the mechanism doesn’t justify the price even on sale. Returning asap !!!! Do not buy if those previous points are vital to your purchase.

Great vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is amazing! I was setting up my flocked Christmas tree and the white flocking was EVERYWHERE. This cleaned it up in no time! It moves very smoothly, it pivots and glides around hard to reach areas. The handle is detachable so that you can clean upholstery and stairs with ease. It’s bagless so you can just empty the canister after each use. There is a HEPA filter that prevents dust and allergens from circulating back into the air. Super long cord so you don’t have to keep unplugging it to move around. The only downside (not for me but maybe for some individuals) it is decently heavy. It glides so smoothly that you don’t notice it when using the vacuum, but if you needed to carry it upstairs it might prove difficult for some Individuals. It also has a function for bare floors and carpeted areas. I love this vacuum and I am so glad we got it!

I have purchased around 15 vacuum cleaners from this brand over the past two years, and I’ve noticed that the quality has significantly declined. I feel frustrated because the price is now higher than the last time I bought it, yet the product is not the same. This vacuum lacks suction power, the accessories feel fragile, and the parts look disposable. It really does not meet my expectations, and for that reason, I would like to return it.

It is easy to maneuver when it is in its full configuration as well as when it’s “lifted away.” Only thing i wasn’t a huge fan of were the quality if the additonal parts/add ons. They have held up so far but feel cheap. Otherwise a great vacuum.

Great suction but not a "powered" lift away model
The suction on this vacuum is extraordinary! Even on its lowest setting, it is stronger than my previous Shark Navigator. The strong suction, however, is too strong to use on entry rugs or runners, even on the lowest setting. While it is a “lift away” model, it is not a powered lift away. This means it does not power the brush head while using the lift away function. For me, this makes vacuuming the stairs much more difficult and I wish that difference had been more clearly stated.

Such a life saver!

On the carpet setting, it literally pulls you forward. The cord is a decent size, it’s light weight, holds a good amount, and isn’t very loud at all. This is the perfect vacuum!! The suction power is strong enough to pull up dirt and pet hair I didn’t even know was there. I love the lift-away feature — it makes cleaning stairs and tight corners so much easier. The filtration system works great too; I can tell it traps dust well because the air feels cleaner afterward. It’s not too loud, which is a huge plus when cleaning during nap time. I’ve already had a Shark for the last 15 years so I was happy to update to one with a HEPA filter!! It isn’t very loud but it does make a weird high pitched sound (annoying but tolerable for me) Im so glad I tested this free but 100% would buy one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shark navigator lift away vacuum is absolutely hands down the best vacuum I've ever used. It's a tad difficult to maneuver on the highest suction setting but I could not believe what came up out of my carpet. I love all the different settings for suction, also the lift away feature is amazing because it takes off the bottom part of the vacuum so it's easier to carry around and use the tools for hard to reach places. The dust canister was halfway full just with my living room. It's about the average sound of a typical vacuum that wasn't bothering at all. The canister is super easy to get off and empty and clean. Overall, I'd highly recommend this vacuum. I also have pets and the hair it pulled up from them was unbelievable. I'm really happy with this vacuum.

Strongest suction vacuums are Shark
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We own a multitude of Shark floor products and am excited to add this to the collection. The Hepa filter is really impressive, we have two dogs and a lot of dust and this vacuum picked up a ton of it. The swivel aspect is my favorite part of this vacuum, it fits under cabinets, beds, and makes maneuvering very easy. The suction is the strongest I've seen yet, truly. Everything about this vacuum works incredibly on our very scratchable hardwood floor. However, on our carpets the suction is literally so strong, I can barely push it! We have thick carpet bedrooms and then large area rugs in the living areas, and this vacuum is borderline unusable with both types of rugs. For the wood and the handheld option though, amazing! I'd recommend anyone looking for a hardwood floor vacuum to try this one.
