Dryness and Breakage - 2 years ago
This shampoo has been all over youtube and I since ran out of my old, much better, conditioner out of impulse I decided to buy this one. Big mistake. At first, it was working normally like any run-of-the-mill conditioner but as I was detangling my 4c hair I noticed more hair was coming off the comb than usual. This was quite skeptical but I reminded myself of how we typically shed about 100-200 hairs a day on average so I brushed it off and continued with my routine. While I finished detangling the rest of my hair I started to get worried after seeing how much came off. When I was done with my hair I experienced my worst nightmare. The breakage was unfathomable my hair has never experienced such dryness in my 14 years of going natural. Every time I tried to put it into a bun (which btw requires almost no pulling of the hair) strands of my hair would come out. I do not know how this would work for other hair types but all I know is that for 4c it's a no-go.
