  • A: Hi there, Thank you for your question. Here is the answer. How to Perform the Self-Cleaning Cycle Your ice maker has a built-in Automatic Self-Cleaning Program. Here is the simple process as outlined in the manual: 1.Plug in the unit. 2.Press and hold the Power button for at least 5 seconds. This will activate the self-cleaning program. 3.The cycle will run for 30 minutes. During this time, the "Ice Full" and "Add Water" indicators will flash alternately. 4.Once the cycle is complete, you must drain the water from the inner tank through the drainage outlet at the bottom front of the machine. Do You Need to Purchase a Cleaner? No, you do not need to purchase a special cleaner for the self-cleaning cycle. The automatic cycle uses only fresh water to flush the system. However, if you are not using ice cubes for a long time, we recommend removing them from the ice basket and storing them in the refrigerator.     Very unhappy . Very loud. Sounds like it is going to blow up if you use it for an hour. Not all the cubes come out frozen. Half are wet and very small.

    Not what I was looking for

    I purchased this because it was both highly rated on a consumer website and one of the cheaper options. It’s not necessarily a bad product, but it’s not what I was looking for either. My son and I were excited when it arrived because we were looking for ice at home that was similar to some of the restaurant chains like Chick-fil-a, Zaxby’s, Jason’s Deli, etc, but if that is what you are looking for, this is not it. The ice is definitely more bullet style (as mentioned in the description) and not small nuggets. The size difference between S and L in this ice maker is barely noticeable and both are on the large side in our opinions. Again, this isn’t a bad product and the fault rests with me, but be warned if you are looking for the small chain style ice, look elsewhere. If you are ok with larger bullet ice, this option may work for you. For this reason, I’m rating 3-star across the board.

    Not what I hoped for

    I have wanted an ice maker for quite a while and finally bought one. Looks good, right size, but ... directions were incomplete, referring back to other pages, referred to area not identified, and just generally confusing. After 30 minutes of trying to figutre it out, I finally just poured water in it and pushed buttons and hoped. Would not buy again, or recommend.

    Not self cleaning. Slower than ither machines out there

    Not as pictured or described. Unit does not have a self cleaning function and it takes 10 min to make 9 cubes. Bought this one because the description said self cleaning. It’s not. Will return.
