Not as pictured or described. Unit does not have a self cleaning function and it takes 10 min to make 9 cubes. Bought this one because the description said self cleaning. It’s not. Will return.

This is so simple to use! Plug it in and put water to the full line -done- easy peasy! Very happy with this ice maker. It produces about 6 cups of ice at a time (I could be off on this) but the amount of time it takes to make this ice is seriously impressive!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I live in a 1900 sq ft ranch home that is nearly 60 year old. As consistent with the age, it is cut up into tiny rooms. The space for the refrigerator is small and across the room from the sink. The firs thing that happened when I moved in was the line busted in the ceiling. I had it taken out, so no auto ice maker. I never minded using ice trays until the ice trays started busting after two weeks. A friend of mine bought one of these ice makers. So. . . I decided to try it. I go through a good deal of ice throughout the day. Yes, the ice cubes are small. I love them. Those of you who are complaining about them melting - the icemaker ISN’T A FREEZER. Get a freezer bag and put them in THE FREEZER. SERIOUSLY? I really think people need to review how ice occurs and its properties. I am alarmed by some of the things I see on here. Also, while the ice isn’t shaved, it is ""soft"" and is great for making smoothies in your small blender!
