Nice little contour kit!!
I recieved the Step-by-Step contour pallette and just used it today. I thought it was cream based but its actually powder. It has little instructions of where to put which color so it's pretty new user friendly. It has good color pigment and doesnt go on too heavy but can still look a little dry on ur skin, it isnt a more natural look, definitely more heavier look. But overall makes a nice little contour package and spruces up the face features to give some definition. I received this product for free from Smashbox for testing and review purposes."

Okay primer, no blurring
I bought this for the supposed blurring effect and was disappointed. There was no noticeable blurring. It's okay as a primer but for the price there are better primers. I won't purchase this again and I don't recommend.

Good product but Ulta has a dupe
I liked the Smashbox photo finish primer but I think the Ulta Beauty Soft Blur face primer is just as good and much cheaper. This is definitely the kind of primer that goes on silky but sits on top of your skin. Not like other primers with texture more like lotion/serum that better soak into your skin.

Dont know if they changed the formula or not but it used to be supper good, it used to look grainy and matt but the newer formula look clearer (shouldve been the first red flag) i thought it was my skin care prep (wasnt) but it kept making my makeup peel no matter how long i let it sit for it just kept peeling

A little goes a long way and considering the price, that's a good thing! Glides on smooth and holds makeup in place, even in humid weather. My only complaint is price but I guess you get what you pay for! Stock up when it's on sale!
