SOG - Parashears Multi-Tool - Red

Was for Christmas Present Recipient pleased and excited

I've had mine for over a year. Only issue is I need another sheath and SOG doesn't have one available. I can't be the only person with this problem. Come on guys and make them available to purchase.

Parashears are great. I’m used to the original shears and those were good but advancements are always better.

I work 911 EMS and was introduced to the sog shears by a co-worker. By far my favorite shears and I have the raptors. The oxygen wrench placement is probably one of my favorite features and they cut with absolutely no issue. My only complaint is there is no clip on them. I hate having gear on my belt and my belt barely fits the holster for them. They would be the perfect shear if they had a clip. Sog can you maybe make one you can add to it? Please!!

I really like my parashears.It’s great having screw drivers and tweezers included.A multitool with full size shears is awesome.They are really sharp.I also like the red handles.I highly recommend the red parashears

I bought the red para shears after i got my wife's opinion. She's an RN 1st responder. I showed them to her after receiving them and she loved them and thanked me for getting them for her. Who am I to argue. I ordered another pair of para shears for myself and my truck. For my wife to appreciate one of my crazy purchases shows how darn good those para shears are. Try them yourselves, you'll appreciate their utility and ability to fold up to fit in a belt carry pouch which makes them part of my EDC, along with a tourniquet, P365, spare mag and a couple of pocket knifes. Ive already used mine to cut through those tough as nails plastic blister packs that are sonically welded together making the plastic quite difficult to cut. The para shears ate it up.

Perfect for my backpack ER medic kit. Strong awesome shears that when not in the kit is used to cut wire for fly tying.

Great compact shears. My favorite out of all the trauma shears.

It seems we are all challenged in this day and age, to find quality in all our purchased products. As a for.er EMT in the USCG, I find the quality of SOG products to be "Too Shelf" and of solid value. The shears are exactly what a working professional needs, and a well trained person can use. Bravo and Semper Paratus!

So I have had this product now for a few weeks. I have used it in the field dozens of times. I like them, but I honestly believe that LEATHERMAN Raptor's has got this item beat. I have ran into the shears not cutting denim, as well as silk from a parachute main canopy. I cant say that I was ever able to use the oxygen wrench tool on this item as all the oxygen tanks are not a triangle stem shape, they are all more of a rectangle shape. Also the LEATHERMAN RAPTOR RESCUE SHEARS allow you to customize their shears, unfortunately not the SOG ParaShears. With that said, I am more than confident that this product will preform if this was the only shears on my belt.

Love them, but they need a better case like my Dec. the Velcro wore out, doesn’t stick well and they can fall out. Need a case like leatherman raptors.

Good tool.The tool does fallout of the scaber when folded.

Just another item made in China. I’m sure when I began purchasing SOG items years ago that many items were made locally.

This is a really handy tool to add to my hiking bag in case of emergency. Feels comfortable in hand and is easy to deploy when needed. I recommend it!

Great addition to my larger FAK. Fits right into the MOLLE, easy to find red (or to send someone for them!)

Lightweight and easy to use. Just what I needed. Easier to carry on my scrubs than the Leatherman Raptor due to lesser weight. Trauma Shear works very well. The folding tools are much appreciated. I can go from Respiratory Therapy scrubs to EMS uniform with this baby as it is designed for use in pre-hospital as well as in-facility care. The tweezers are also a welcome surprise and the glass-breaker is situated perfectly for use when deployed. This tool is worth every penny I paid for it.

I bought these to go in my emergency kit for my vehicle. They are super light weight, fold up nicely and are workhorses. They cust well and fit in your hand well.

We are always looking for tools that make bomb technicians work safer and easier. That is exactly what the ParaShears do. When accessing a package such as a backpack, we have tried many different EMT shears, and nothing works like the ParaShears. Shears cut clean and smooth, which when working on an IED is paramount. The hook knife cuts nylon webbing, cardboard, and you name it with ease.

Useful enough for everyday carry. I get these out before I do my pocket knife now. The only complaint that I have is that when carried closed the gears stick out of the bottom of the case. Not very comfortable on the fingers when digging into a pocket. Still love them and they pair great with my SOG fixed blade.
