The headphone works well for 2months and then it started to show true self. Sometimes audio from the left went dead so I'm only hearing from the right. Sometimes audio dead completely on boths ears. Sometimes, in a meeting, the other person can hear me speak but I cannot hear him speak. I had to unplug and plug the headphone. Target does not take return or replacement AFTER 1ST MONTH!! As if they know there's an issue with the product and proceed to sell anyway! Bad review for both product and service! What's the point purchasing from Target if I have to call in Manufacturer myself! I have not been this upset. Steer clear from this one

I bought this over a month ago when my Sony WH-H900N succumbed to their age. I was on holiday overseas and always travel with a large selection of music and my Headphones. This new model is significantly better in the NC and Ambient sound areas, and I am generally very happy with it. The only area where they fall short is in the fit. They don't sit evenly on my head like my old WH-H900N, and I need to adjust them every time I put them on.

I received Sony - WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones as a gift from my father-in-law. I'd been researching brands and models for months and finally asked for advice from someone more knowledgeable than me. My father-in-law decided he'd just buy me the same ones he bought for himself. The sound quality is phenomenal and the features included are fantastic. Super comfortable, durable and decent color selection. I love them!

This is my second set as I lost my XM3's. Absolutely fantastic depth of sound with a good amount of bass but definitely not bass heavy. Some headphones these days have significant bass enhancement and when you listen to any track with heavy bass it is too much. These are perfect for me at least. They are extremely comfortable. I believe more comfortable than the XM5 and XM6. They also come with a more streamlined and in my opinion better carry case than the later models.

Great Sound, But Glitch that destroys experience

I had them for 4 months before I experienced a really upsetting glitch. The headphones do not charge over 10% no matter how long on the charger. The largest issue with this is that it disallows me from initiating any updates which could cause later bugs and issues to not be addressed, and also just annoying because I constantly have to recharge soon. Additionally, I always have to hear the "low battery" notification upon turning the headphones on. Just a bummer since they were a pretty penny. Consulting online, it seems this is a unfortunately common issue. Other than that, the sound is absolutely beautiful, very immersive. My mouth actually flew and hung open the first time I listened to music through these headphones because of the unreal audio quality. The noise cancellation is well-performing also. Conferrable headphones that look sleek. The glitch is so unfortunate because I am interested in the xm6s but don't want to have the same issue again especially for such a hefty price.

After hours of research, I decided on the Sony WH-1000XM4. I was traveling and I needed something noise canceling. Everything is top notch for me with this headset. The fit is great. The sound is amazing. Truly noise canceling. I have recently started listening to audio books before drifting off to sleep. Even laying on a pillow the comfort is better than I could have asked for.

Fantastic sound quality. Noice cancelling does not work well outdoors or on a bus. They make a loud popping noise. I thought I had upgraded from 700 series, but that’s simple not the case. Same issue with flying.

These are 200 pounds and the battery broke within 2 months. Won’t charge anymore. Try to go to Sony support and it sends me to an AI chatbot - no other options. If you buy these they will break.

This product is inconsistent and I tried to exchange but was outside of the 30 day electronics return window. I realize that part is my fault. Target would not do anything for me which is a bummer. Dealing with Sony directly now which is fine but I don’t want another Sony product since I do not think they have consistent connectivity with Bluetooth. Overall disappointed Target wouldn’t provide an exchange at minimum.
