    Smells just like the Pacific island suntan lotion

    Summer is just around the corner so I jumped online to do early research on best scented nautical misty hair sprays. Reading through the comments, I noticed the SUN BUM brand was mentioned and was glad to see Target sells it so I took a chance. It arrived in sealed package with yellow nozzle spray. I prefer the more simple push down lids than the handle ones. I shook the bottle and the blue has settled to the bottom with clear water at the top. Hard to read the labels though. The liquid inside reminds me of ocean blue salty waves. The smell is very much like that famous tropical Pacific island sun lotion only the Sun Bum is for hair. Nice! Note: I did have some trouble trying to get the nozzle to spray. Target had taped over the neck and I thought it was to prevent leakage not realizing I was supposed to push in the side tab.

    This is my absolute favorite hair spray/detangler and heat protectant. That being said, it’s gotten so expensive over the last couple years!! It’s crazy to pay $17 for this little bottle, but I guess I will because nothing compares to it.

    Works okay

    I have thick, naturally curly hair that I heat style regularly. For the most part, this works pretty well. I find that I have to use a lot of it to get the desired effect though, which causes me to go through it pretty quickly. I also find that it doesn’t protect my hair from humidity very well. It works great against heat damage though and leaves my hair soft and shiny. I prefer salon quality stuff to heat style my hair, but this works on occasion.

    Perfect product for me

    Short Answer: I love it! It cuts down drying time drastically, it’s made my hair look healthier and it smells really nice! I just wish it didn’t cost so much and there was more product in the bottle. It works great for me though I have been told by friends who have tried it that it’s made their hair greasy (I haven’t had any issue with it though) Long Answer: So I am absolutely cruel to my hair. I wash, blow dry, and straighten it every day. I have a hairstyle that just doesn’t look good after being slept on. I have shorter hair (about shoulder length) it’s pretty thick and strong and I get it cut frequently so the damage wasn’t a huge issue but I still knew I should be using heat protector. I absolutely hate the time it takes me to do my hair everyday and this product cuts the drying time down immensely!!!!! It has been a game changer in my morning routine and saved me a lot of time. I’ve been using it for at least a year now and my hair feels healthier and I feel a lot less guilty about putting it through so much. I really really love this product!!! I’m sure it’s hard to take advice from someone who treats their hair like garbage but I am told my hair looks very healthy and soft if your someone like me who uses heat almost every day I recommend it!

    The application is super easy to use I love how you can tell when you shake it enough the whole liquid turns blue. It hasn’t made my hair oily which most heat products do! The package is super cute and I love the spray bottle being able to click it on / off to spray
