So.....I did not read the "other ingredients" .......this product contains Polyethylene glycol and talc.... neither if which I wish to consume. Since it was my mistake, I just discarded them. I should have ordered Triple Mg complex ( 1 capsule=400 mcg)

I have used this product for many years. Magnesium serves so many important functions in your body and I consider this one of the most significant supplements my husband and I take. Loved the old magnesium citrate it was stronger so I took less pills. This is a good product but I have to double the amount I’m taking! Please go back to the stronger strength!
Quite strong. It is apparently meant as a laxative, and that was not what I was looking for.

Magnesium citrate is one of the best to be absorbed by you body y really good the quality some time When my BP is high take 3 with 4 of potasium and 45 minitus goes down...swanson uas a vast varietity of good products but remember is not what you take is about what your body can really absorve

I would prefer the previous formulation which had twice as much actual magnesium per capsule. I noticed that the new version has fewer "other ingredients" so perhaps that is the reason for the change. The new tablet is slightly smaller which is a plus. Perhaps by the next time I order I will have adjusted and give it a five star.

I love swansons magnesium citrate but this one is half the dose of the old formula which means I have to take quite a lot of these BIG tablets .....and I need a large dose to function!

I like the old product, it was stronger and I didn’t need to take as many pills. This is really not super strength anymore. I’m going to try using some other brands for my magnesium citrate. I hope Swanson brings back the old version. I really like Swanson‘s other products though.

Surprise!! Swanson cut the potency in half but still says "SUPER STRENGTH" on the label of this new "Magnesium Citrate" product. The old product (no longer available) had twice the potency per tablet and the same number of tablets per bottle. And the old product was less expensive. In other words, Swanson has more than doubled their price on magnesium citrate. I took 4 tablets daily of the old formula. Now I have to take 8 tabs daily. That's too many pills! Thanks but I'll look for something better.

For years we have been using 225mg tabs. Now they are half of it and cost twice as much and one would halve to take two tabs. Bad deal, bad business and on recent orders it was not filled stating it would follow - it never did.
