Q: How do these pads attach to the base?

A: The pads should simply grip on to the head when you use them to clean. To replace the cleaning pad on the Swiffer PowerMop follow these steps: 1- Remove the old refill pad 2- Attach the printed side onto the bottom of mop head using firm pressure 3- The white and purple strips should be facing the floor

Q: I would also like to know how many uses can you get from a Swiffer Power Mop pad? I mop every day. If I have to use a new one each time, that would get expensive. I wish they were washable.

product does what it’s supposed to do. reading some of these comments tells me some of yall didn’t have to clean your whole life, lol, hey im jealous☺️ first, a swiffer wasn’t meant to replace a real broom/mop/bucket. it could never. it’s an in between. and you always sweep before you put anything wet on your floor. lastly if the floor is sticky which it usually will be since your just spreading a cleaning agent on your floor and moving it around….get a regular mop or a towel and hot water and go bk over it and get the soap off. and once again this is not a substitute for a mop and mop bucket or a floor cleaner/steam cleaner whatever. it’s just a quick in between situation.

This longer pad, with more dimension, really does pick up more dirt than previous versions of a disposable wet mop pad, especially on uneven surfaces, like tile with grout. I would definitely recommend this product!

These pads get all matted up and leave streaks. The mop dies after two uses. Replaced batteries and it still won't work. Figured I'd try the new design, but like all of these other products, they leave your floor filthy. Think it works good? Wet a paper towel and wipe your floor after you mop.

Streaks are something no one wants to see after mopping, and we’d like to share a few tips that may help. Some causes of streaking may be if the product solution isn't suitable for the type of floor you have, or if other cleaning products have been used on the floor recently. Also, if your floor is brand new, it may have a special coating to protect it during shipping which can cause streaking. If this is the case, using the product a few more times should solve the problem. Before you use the product on a floor for the first time, test the cleaner in a hidden area or contact the floor’s manufacturer. If the product is suitable for your floor, for best cleaning results you should sweep or vacuum the floor first. When mopping, leave the solution on the floor for 10 to 15 seconds before mopping. When you need to replace the batteries, be sure to use brand new AA alkaline batteries that are all from the same package, and check that you're insertng them correctly. I saw the refills and grabbed a box … not realizing it was for a new mop. But we tried it out on our original swiffer mop. Our kitchen has a lot of tiny grooves in the floor pattern and it makes it hard to keep the floor really clean. So I thought, maybe these extra fibers might get into the grooves better. Yes the pads are wider but that’s not a bad thing… my question is…. What is the difference between the original swiffer handle and fluid system and this new one?? Is it really worth buying the whole new system? And I hate scent A LOT…. Does the new system have an unscented option? Because I won’t buy a scented anything.

Each PowerMop mopping pad has 300+ scrubbing strips to help remove sticky spills and daily grime from even the deepest grooves and grout, making it a perfect choice if you've ever had trouble with nooks and crannies. We don't currently offer an unscented cleaning solution at this time, however, we do understand that some people prefer no scent at all, so we'll let our team know that you'd like to see that option in the future.
