A: Hi there! Thank you for your question about using the Swiffer Power Mop Multi-Surface Kit on porcelain tile. The Swiffer PowerMop is safe for use on all sealed, finished flooring types, which includes finished wood, luxury vinyl tile, and laminate. However, it is not recommended for use on unfinished, oiled, or waxed wooden boards, non-sealed tiles, or carpeted floors, as these surfaces can be water-sensitive. Since porcelain tile is generally a sealed tile surface, it is likely that the PowerMop can be used safely on it, assuming the tile is sealed. We always recommend performing a patch test in an inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility. For further questions, please contact Swiffer at 1-800-742-9220.
