Q: How long are the wet mops compared to the mop it goes on. I want to make sure the wet ones fit entirely over the head.

A: If you're ordering Swiffer Wet Refills for a Swiffer Sweeper head, I think you can count on them fitting the entire head. I buy store brand (but not Target's) or any off brand, and they've all fit entirely over my Swiffer Sweeper head. I figure, why pay more if you don't have to?

A: All of our Wet cloths are safe for use on finished hardwood and bamboo floors, though our Wood Wet cloths are specially designed for wood floors. They feature slightly less solution per cloth to reduce the amount of solution left on the floor, and don't have a scrubby strip in order to ensure a gentle clean.

All of these items work well. So easy for anyone. The power mop is amazing! The Swiffer wet & dry kit works great as well. This was a present, and when the box arrived, it was damaged due to the box being ruined. I know the people who deliver are probably stressed and super busy. Also, my Tide detergent was also missing. I could return the Swiffer wipes and the rest of my items, but that’s not the point. I have never had a problem with Target. I called Target many times. Too busy, obviously due to the holidays. Also, the box was thrown against the door. Sorry to rant, but the wipes leaked onto my Swiffer power mop & my Swiffer wet + dry kit. Bummer☹️

The scent of this product is absolutely atrocious. I will never understand why the people who create cleaning products must add the most intensely fake perfumes. Why? Just why? I used ONE cloth to mop my kitchen floor. One. Hours later, my kitchen still reeks. The garbage can which held the used cloth reeks. I had to WASH OUT the inside of my garbage can and it still smells. I mopped again with a different cleaner, then vinegar and water. Still stinks. Makes my throat hurt and gave me a headache. If you want to be poisoned, buy this product!

I am a first time user and I am disappointed. I bought the starter kit that came with the stick, 2 heavy duty pads, 1 regular wet pad and a dusting pad. I have a new house with Luxury Vinyl flooring, I thought this would be perfect to clean them. What I was so disappointed in was that the pad only stayed wet and cleaning well for a very small part of my floor, like a 10 foot long by 4 foot wide area. When I went from there into my kitchen it was hardly wet or cleaning. At the start of the mopping it was great, but ended not so great. It happened with the heavy duty pads and the regular wet pads. I would expect it to stay wet enough to clean a small hallway and small kitchen. I am not sure if I will continue to buy these pads.

We're so very sorry to hear about this. This could be because the product is not suitable for the type of floor you have. We do not recommend using our Swiffer WetJet on unfinished, oiled or waxed wooden floors, non-sealed tiles or carpets. If the product is suitable for your floor, be sure to sweep or vacuum the floor first, and leave the solution on the floor for 10 to 15 seconds before mopping. If your floor is brand new, it may have a special coating to protect it during shipping, and this can cause stickiness. If this is the case, using the product a few more times should solve the problem. The floor can also become sticky if other cleaning products have been used on the floor recently. This may help, but we'd like to assist you further. Please call us at (800) 742-9220.
