Q: Can you use these on laminate hardwood flooring?

A: I just had laminate flooring installed throughout my house and this is the product the contractor recommended.Along with "Reguvenate" liquid floor cleaner for wet mopping.

Laminate flooring is probably what you mean in this matter. Not trying to nitpick but, There is a big difference between the two types Wood Floors vs Laminate Floors Laminate is more of a manufactured blend that mimics some of the properties of wood flooring , and is designed to look lvery similar to wood. Laminates are a lower priced alternative manufactured to look like wood with a few features such as: pretreated to prevent fading or damage from UV rays Hardcwood flooring is your natural wood, bamboo etc. wood flooring vs laminate flooring are very different but both work well with Swifters Wood flooring is the real deal, Laminates are usually a lower priced option with some benefits (I.e. - UV protection, and is often scratch and dent resistant) Good luck with your new Floors

A: We wish our refills could be used without creating solid waste, but that is not yet possible, Sara. Swiffer Sweeper cloths are not biodegradable or washable and should be disposed of in your household waste.

My Swiffer and I have a great thing going on. It makes no sense how much I love this mop and wet cloths. The wet cloths are ideal for small spaces. For larger spaces, you end up using 3-4 cloths as they tend to dry out quickly. Still a great product.

This is for wet cloths. Cloths (fresh scent) smell like public restroom after they’re cleaned. They only stay wet for a short while so I had to use two cloths for a tiny kitchen area. The mop itself is Very flimsy and the handle is a bit short. The mop flip flops around as you’re using it and the cloth ends up slipping off the mop after a few rounds. This made a very easy small job a pain. Certainly not worth wasting a bunch of paper!!! Plus smelly chemicals- not worth it !!!

Wow, what happened to swiffer? I have one from 10+ years ago and is holding strong. I purchased another for my child and the quality has significantly decreased. The passing at the bottom is separating right out of the package, the old one has hard foam on the ends to prevent that. So disappointing.

I purchased at the store. When I assembled at home, the middle tube was missing the holes to lock it into the other tubes. Also, the tube seemed to be undersized so even if it had holes, it wouldn't have fit with the others. I have used them before so I know what I am getting, I just received a defective one.
The wet cloth doesn't stay on the mop head.

We're so very sorry to hear about this. There are some floor surfaces that may create more pressure on the cloth when mopping, causing it to release from the grippers. If this happens, try turning the cloth over and use the plain white side to clean your floor to get the improved performance of our wet cloths. We'd like to see if this helps and assist you further. The wet jet worked. The wet pads are worthless. Start out soaking wet then quick bone dry. Won't buy again.
