A: All Tide products have been thoroughly evaluated to use in homes with septic tanks. As long as you follow the recommended amounts as directed, they do not damage the septic system (including aerated systems) or plumbing systems with a properly functioning septic tank.

This is by far my favorite of the Free line! It removes odors from kid clothing including dance/athletic wear and leaves my clothes smelling and feeling clean. We have multiple allergies and two asthmatics in my house so it’s good to finally find a detergent that works without perfumes that stir up allergies! I’ve also tried the pod version of this and love it as well. Keep making this one Tide!

I buy thrifted items but trying to get that funk out of them is impossible sometimes. I don't use scents and am very sensitive to smells. While it took 3 washes to get that funky smell out (along with vinegar and the rinse and refresh), I was able to do it! I used this on my exercise gear too and it is truly magical. It does leave a slight smell (almost like a chemical type scent) but it fades after a day.

I love Tide free and clear overall - feel like it cleans very well and is sensitive but the odor refresh really isn’t there …for my teenagers I was hoping for almost a sensitive non perfume way to refresh the clothes. It cleans well but it is a sensitive free and clear so no perfume or masking - I am still going to use it and i always soak my kids laundry for extended cycle - it’s a good product overall

This works okay- I would say that if you are washing stained kids clothes, then this is not really going to get the job done. That said, it does not cause irritations and is good for their sensitive skin. It does not get out stains. Great for a basic detergent but it's not going to produce miracles on kids clothes when it comes to stains or keeping colors bright. Not scented which we like since fragrances are not good, especially on kids skin.

All my black clothes, yoga pants come out with white line all over. Sports clothes doesn’t feel clean at all. Not recommended… (Before i used 10x hygiene tide , i feel so sad not available anymore) Horrible new version..

I don't know if it's just me, but the products my mom used when I was a child, I tend to stick with because they work, and Tide has always been number 1 for my clothing care. I love scented detergent, especially for my bedding, but sometimes I don't want the fragrance of my detergent competing with my perfume, so I was all too pleased to try Tide free. So far, so good, but I didn't expect anything less! My clothing still come out as clean as ever, and they do smell fresher. I'm a fan!
